Fracknuts,if my phone hadn't shattered on the weekend I would have actually contributed clips. I was so busy trying to get the screen back on(take the entire thing apart) that I forgot about the trailer.
All in all the trailer was great. It gets me in a good mood. Which is great,since I've been grumpy for about a week now.

Curious. Are there more players that make fan media? I don't mean tutorials or talking over game play. Looking for print, video, graphics, comics, etc. Who drew the Rouge Wedding comic way back when? I'd love to see what players are doing if there is more.

I think the name was player-made. To be honest, Eve: Phoenix sounds way more badass and far more appropriate given our situation compared to Eve: Legion.
In fact, imagine being called a Phoenix rather than a Legionary.

^agreed. I never resolved for myself the idea of being a legionnaire. Just sounds cheesy. =/ and not intentionally fun the way dust-bunny works.

Still not a fan of pheonix as the name, because it makes it sound like an aerial focused game. If not Legion then Rebirth or Immortal Soldiers or Reincarnation or The Undying (this one I like), something that doesn't imply we'll be stuck piloting something.
Good video none the less.
Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks.

Phoenix doesn't imply an aerial focus so much, at least I feel, as a cycle or perhaps the 'rebirth of something'.
For a symbol of a revitalized game, hopefully a set of lore changes to allow us more freedom, and purely for aesthetics we couldn't go far wrong.
I wish I had artistic talent because if I did I'd go off and create a bit of promotional art.

Pretty much everyone knows what Phoenix represents but it's also a bird which implies flight. Pretend you don't know the things you do about EVE & DUST. If you seen EVE: Phoenix on a list of games, is an FPS the first thing that's going to pop into your mind or would it be some kind of aerial combat game that pops to mind? If you were looking for an FPS you'd probably check out EVE: Gunjack (if it were just a regular game instead of a VR one) before you'd check out EVE: Phoenix, just based on the names.

Except they put out HUGE updates constantly with TONS of communication, plus you can fly ships in open space, board ships, do FPS combat etc etc.
In pre alpha.
