I would wait until I saw how a lot of their design decisions went. There's a lot I'm not satisfied with, as my interests are world-immersion > FPS and EVE > FPS.
Also I am not buying next/current/stfu-you-know-what-OP-meant systems yet, mostly because there are no exclusive games drawing me to them and 1 game(Dust-next) wouldn't convince me to drop multiple hundreds either. There's only 2 games which can make me buy a PS4: Uncharted 4 and Gran Turismo 7. Perhaps... GTA 6? 
Ace Combat 7.
I normally never buy a console for one game, but I grew up with Ace Combat and that is the exception to my rule.
