This is nuts. Getting merced by a starter fit well in my proto setup is not right. WTF is wrong with this crap. Y r the rail rifles so strong. It don't matter shat suit there on nor dose it matter what suit ur fighting against them. Ur dead before u can fire a round back.

When I see Gallente, Minmatar, and Amarr assaults running ARR almost as often as I do their respective racial weapons I do start to wonder...
Hey CCP, could we have some Kills per Death numbers and other data on the ARR's performance? No? You don't talk to us anymore? Alright.

Running gal ass with arr is smart with current fotm being an armor suit with an anti shield weapon it's kinda logical..or the minmatar has good speed but acr sux..Amarr well those are the nerds that have logis on them (usually) once again all of these are good for combatting the current fotm (gal ass+ar) |

Tac actually takes some semblance of difficulty to use.

I have to agree. I've noticed I've been dying way to quickly recently to rail rifles UP CLOSE. that should not be the case.
Was the kick bonus to much an advantage?

Maybe CCP has finally done something about the dam hit detection because when I use mine , it's like shooting a wall ... the person on the receiving end zero damage and me seeing nothing but blue flashes .
Must be nice to actually play this game and have it function like it's suppose to in real time .

Use the right weapon..acr won't be beating a cal ass unless you suck..if you lose with a gal ass then work on what you're doing but if you're running an anti shield weapon and someone is using a gal ass with arr don't complain that you lost in cqc..he just chose a fit that can easily counter yours..it's not the weapon it's that meta has changed back to armor again..if you constantly die to a rr then change to a shield suit if you still lose change your tactics or admit that he's better than you

because armor is slooooow. rail rifles help you out by letting you not have to run around as much.
if you have a RR. you can deal damage to almost anyone you see. other rifles have to move in closer to deal damage, which is a problem when youre so slow.
its mostly about the utility of a long range rifle vs a short range rifle. range is better. |

have you maxed your weapons, shield and armor upgrades.
i fight enemies in militia, starter and apex suit and i just kill them easy.
maybe you run into those vets that use militia gear for the lols. |

Ppl r usein miltia rail rifles to take down squads. WAY TO OP!!! The reason you're dead before you can fire a shot is network lag. If they fire at you before you start to fire, they've already been hitting you for 1-2 seconds. You're dead. Doesn't matter what the weapon is.
But yes, the ARR is a nice rifle. If only the scrubs using it on suits other than CalAss knew how much better it is on a CalAss... Oh, I shouldn't have said that.... :) |

The reason the ARR is better than the RR, particularly in CQC, is that the charge time is negligible. The MAGSEC is even better.
Not hard to guess what my favourite light/side combination is... :) |

There are officer variants that are much better, but if you're used to just using the MLT RR to the best of its ability, it's not that much less effective than the proto RRs. |

I love MLT fits. I do have some State Peacekeeper suits (APEX by any other name) that are not that good without some modification but I put MLT BPO improvements on them and they're fine.
I particularly love the Frontline-CA and Medic-CA fits. Both of them use the MLT ARR and the Medic uses the MLT MAGSEC.
The Bolt Pistol is useless to me - too much charge time and the fire rate is too slow, far slower than it's supposed to be, probably due to the network lag... |

Again , it's not very noticeable because if you look at the killfeed while you play , the ARR play more of a part then the vanilla does because it's much easier to use , you don't need a barely noticeable bonus to figure that out .
More players were using the ARR before and nothing has changed since then , it's no wonder why the ARR is more popular .
I would rarely see Gal and Min assaults using the vanilla but I sure seen a lot using the ARR .

The rail rifle is better in the areas of map where people get shot at from the side so people don't see each other at the same time If you get to see someone first the charge up time is not a disadvantage, you want to really line them up before shooting at them If the red sees you first and shoots at you the charge up time is not a disadvantage you charge up as you turn.
