It's in 360p. Ick. Well you got placement of the camera right. The camera itself needs some checking out. What are you using to record?(as in what phone brand?)

The rainbow effect is either from lighting messing with your picture or your camera is being affected by the light envirement.

Try equalizing the light in the room you are playing in with the light level your TV puts out(the brightness setting.) Then making sure your camera is set for the appropriate white level and brightness(that should fix your effect.)

I have heard and seen a few cases of people complaining about this around other recording forums.

Newer tvs are adding in invisible features to the naked eye but when recored with lets say a camera or a phone it shows on the captured footage. Its kind of a way to stop people with phones and hd cameras from capturing and distributing copyrighted material.

Obviously your doing no harm on dust 514 by capturing, but lets say its a brand new movie well thats the problem new tvs are trying to get rid of, by adding the rainbow effect and also entirely black screening some phones while recording.

I wish i could find the link of the forum for you. I will keep looking there are solutions if this just happens to be what is going on on your end. Could you shoot me the TV model and name also the year.

Nah. On old tv, phone captured lots of hexagons.

Then turn on your room light as well and balance your TV's brightness as well. And since its an iPhone(overpriced pos)(still has a semi decent camera) it should capture properly. Then tweak your phones settings till it records properly.

Music wasnt that bad man. Chill out. If you dont like it, mute it and put on your own. Everyone has different tastes.

Honestly its not as poor quality as I thought it would be for an iphone recording.

What are you using to hold the phone? And then are you exporting the video to a PC for edits?

I used Legos to make a little stand and I record with iPhone and pass to Mac.

Only reason I put music is cuz I don't record with volume and it gets a bit wierd 5 minutes in with no sound.

And my channel, my music lol. I like dubstep.
