The only logical thing to do is reduce lock on range to 30m, reduce damage to 1 damage per missile, and reduce max ammo capacity.

I think one fundamental issue with ADS is the flight controls. You cannot aim your reticle independently of vehicle movement, thus destabilising your ADS whilst trying to aim. Then the Swarms knock you so far off balance that you can end up facing the other way. The problem is that the ADS CANNOT counter Swarms. There is simply no counter, unless you count running away. It is almost impossible to kill a Swarmer before they kill you. You can maybe take two Swarm volleys if you're hardened before you NEED to GTFO.
Swarms don't seem like such an issue when I'm Tanking, and that's because you can actually counter them. Swarms don't knock you around and you can actually aim and move independently from each other.
In lieu of actually improving the flight mechanisms, I propose an active module that jamms Swarm Lock-On, or extends the Lock-On time. I'm recalling my experiences playing Battlefield 4. You got a warning when you were being Locked-On to, and you could fire off some flares that would scramble the Lock-On before it could be completed, or you could do something else that interrupted the missiles' targeted flight path.
Very simply, what ADS' need is a way to counter Swarms. I think this needs to be a new addition, rather than a single change to Swarm stats.

range nerf to swarm was because 1 swarm denies ads's, 2 swarmers automatically kill all ads's before they can fly away. not joking, 1 swarmer easily gets all 3 volleys off before ads's can get away, reducing any ads's to <1000 hp, meaning any 1 hit of av(excluding 1 mlt swarm hit) combined with a proto swarmer will always kill an ads.

Dude was just wrecking our team. Had total control over the letter by his self.
The only time he finally retreated was with 3 A/V going after him me being one in full proto.
Even on that retreat he was back in under a minute.
The only way me and my squad lead finally took him out was by coordinating a flux orbital on him while I was locked with pro swarms and releasing them at the same time the OB went off.
How is that not broke?
1 person holding down the entire match against 12 - 13 people actually fighting on the enemy team even with multiple people teaming up on him. We ended up winning the match by cloning them once the tank was finally taken care of by 2 people one in full pro A/V and one firing and 3k point orbital.

So theyre more dangerous but maybe pilots with a good gunner or ground support can shoot some of them down.
The splash damage could affect infantry and gunners to close to the blast

SERIOUSLY???? No, you missed the point. They spent a lot on their tank so they automatically have the right to be completely unkillable in 1v1. That's why a fully fitted officer suit is completely unkillable by a MLT plasma cannon on a free MLT suit. Oh wait....

Their once was a time when someone could AFK in a militia tank, and if someone with proto level swarms showed up, they didn't really have much of a chance to destroy that AFKing militia tank unless there was three guys with proto swarms.

Actually that would be a good conecpt being able to take the swarms out with a blaster or a lazer i say even a flux would give a reason to have guner support on the DS
