So the augmented ammunition facility is supposed to boost damage of your 'main' weapon. I'm assuming this means on dropsuits with heavy/sidearm and light/sidearm that it boosts the damage on any weapon you put in the heavy or light weapon slot, and doesnt boost damage on any weapon in the sidearm slot?
Does this mean if you give up your suits light/heavy weapon and instead put a sidearm in that slot, then that sidearm will get the damage boost?
Also, how does this work on commando suits with two light weapon slots? do both light weapons get damage boost? or does only one get damage boost, if so which weapon gets the damage boost? the one closer to high slots or the one closer to equipment slots?
I was thinking a suit tossing its light weapon for a sidearm could get some pretty high dps with damage mods and warbarge damage bonus, if it does apply to a sidearm thats been put into the light weapon slot. |

I suppose one way to test this would be to equip two of the same sidearms in a PC or FW, and shoot them at a friend to see how much damage you deal with the one in the L weapon slot, and then the S weapon slot, see if warbarge % is applied at all. |

Besides, Rattati already clarified early on that the Warbarge Damage Bonus applied to all Light and Heavy weapons, omitting Sidearms.
I figured by 'main' weapon, it would include a sidearm equipped into the light/heavy weapon slot, hmm. |

The Augmented Ammunition Facility increases the damage output of primary weapons - this can be any weapon fitted in the primary weapon slot on any Dropsuit. To clarify, this is the weapon that is shown as equipped and in your hands on any Dropsuit when viewed in your loadouts, and the weapon you should have equipped and ready to use when you're spawning in battle Ydubbs81 RND wrote:Another question is...I heard that the damage subsection is bugged and that it only registers damage up to 5%. Is this true?? We can verify that the Augmented Ammunition Facility is working as intended and is providing the appropriate bonuses on higher levels as well - please note however, that damage bonus is rounded down, and on some levels, some weapons may not have a significant and obvious damage bonus from the Subsystem.
you are the best, archduke! is there any chance of there being a semi-official wiki for this game where info like this can be updated? stuff we cant easily find in the game and whatnot. Lack of available information is one of the things hurting new and existing players, in my opinion. |
