My KD/Lifetime WP is a testament to my full, and at times stupid, commitment to this role. I could never participate in past Dust514 events- you see I donGÇÖt really shoot things . I, like other logis, have longed all these years for a special logi event. Maybe one like the rest of you got - the reward being an officer rep tool you could name .... "kitten mittens repair tool" btw. But alas. Never about us. No glory. No challenge.. Until now. As you can understand when Cypher, recently appointed Tyrant King of Opus, told me about a logi event I was very excited. Yay. This event would bring me back online after letting go of this game several months ago. I'm sad. This event is dumb. It has nothing to do with being a logi. The 10K WP task isn't even linked to anything meaningful (e.g. equipment related points). We have a healing stat at the end of every match- we could have at least done something with that. In my humble logi opinion the "logi event" is dumb. Meow. Crazy Cat Lady xx I try really hard and die.

But then.. what about some CCP dude spend a day, write up a bit of code to connect some tables and create something specifically for a ' Logi-event'. - Ta Da!!! Dont get me wrong- love the positivity and I agree about being grateful for logi-event at last.. but honestly (coming from a super-optimistic logi person) this isn't really good enough I try really hard and die.

Hey Darth :) You are right, I haven't spent time enough time on the game/forums recently to be properly across the CPM's position on this event. This post is a response to the 'big picture' issue. As someone who has been desperate for a logi event my whole dust life- its really disappointing. Yep, I hear the limitation and constraints of events being tied to missions now days- and that we don't have logi specific missions (also disappointing but outside the scope of this thread).- and yeah you guys did the best you could do with the current mission set up. And lovely to have a BPO rep tool for those who want one. But the big picture point is- it just isn't good. As a logi event it misses the mark. As the first logi even in three years (or however long we have all been here).. It is a huge disappointment. Could we not have a little bit of attention from the developers and did something more than a 'glorified mission'? Like I said, there is existing stuff/data that may have been utilized. When the 'officer weapon naming' event was on the developers built something special especially for it. It just sux Darth :( xx ps. I read this thread and know that I have now become one of those complainers who I always hated- sad times. I try really hard and die.

I was there with you, and I too am now a proud owner of a new BPO rep tool. My humble logi opinion maintains that the "event" is dumb- for the many reasons listed above. Maybe one day we will get a real "logi event"... Maybe not.. Depending on stuff and such. The rep tool BPO prize on the other hand is great <3 it's refreshing to have a new tool to play with that is really different and can be used strategically! Three beams ... Wow this is stuff logi dreams are made of :) Summed up eloquently by Darth this morning "This is an event with a logi reward". Rep them all. Cat x I try really hard and die.
