My bad. Lack of a complete sentence led me to believe you were being cheeky and that you were referring to an invitation to the thread so I just ignored it.
No, we were not invited to the CSM summit because it is an Eve Online / CSM summit that has NDA material that's on a need to know basis and we (the CPM) simply do not need to know. We were aware there was a summit but being as it doesn't really pertain to Dust 514 it wasn't necessary for us to be involved. That being said, we should have our own summit coming up in the future barring nothing crazy happens.

In all honesty, I doubt we would see this DUST side.
I have tried EVE though. And for those that don't know, EVE FW works where there are points to hold for a certain extended amount of time in space. The space could be populated or unpopulated. If you try to get easy LP in unpopulated space, someone could come in and gank you at any time. I think DUST FW should be similar where there are multiple planets all running matches simultaneously where you can always get into a match regardless of number of players available. The matches would have to last way longer than they do now though upping the LP payouts slightly in equivalent. Plus extended matches could also let EVE players travel to a FW planet before a match is half over. FW play would also finally be separated slightly from Skirmish.

Functionally speaking for both DUST and EVE each FW will still be fighting each other. The Amarr / Minmatar space will still only be shifting in ownership between Amarr / Minmatar, and the same applies for the Caldari / Gallente space.
You won't see a system between Amarr / Minmatar being taken over by the Caldari (at least in terms of 'ownership'. Having a faction be able to physically occupy a system is another matter entirely)
Thus the DUST side, nothing changes, as there were no "Alliance" systems in place at all.
That said, many corporations already have strong ties with their sister faction warfare members so it's likely there will still be strong levels of cooperation between them... for a while.

Not that the Glorious Amarr Empire has anything to fear of the three other 'empires'. While the Caldari have proven useful, we always knew that to achieve our goals of enlightenment and prosperity across the galaxy we would have to bring all nations and people under the light of God in due time. This matter only helps our end goals.
Still, we should be mindful that the godless drifters are a threat to all, and our factional wars should always play second string to the main conflict of our collective survival.

EDIT: Though if there's going to be an all out war between the factions they will most certainly need more than their own loyalists and militias, they will be in need of mercenaries so it looks like we'll have some work do to
