Ever run Batman Arkham Knight, Battlefront or Destiny on a ps4 ? The graphics are stunning, the gameplay are great, and they all work perfectly fine.
And who the hell play Dust for graphics anyway !?!? If Dust reaches Destiny level I'll be amazed and it'll be more than enough ! A pc is not needed for this.
The number of f2p available on the plateforme is actually a huge point. New players keep on creating char everyday because it's the only f2p shooter on the ps3 (even if most of them don't stay). The same game on pc would've had a very different impact.. and not in a good way.

Actually in my country, getting a PC for $300 (half the price of a PS4) is weaker than the PS4. I would be better off buying a tablet.
I will admit I overexagerated, but they will need to do something if they Crossplay the game in order to help those who use controllers. Xbone PS4 Crossplay (doubt it will ever happen Warframe even failed to convince Sony and Microsoft) wouldn't be as bad as both are using controllers.

Yeah, the high end PCs can do amazing things etc. You can customize and use/make mods, which is great for the people that want to do it.
But if that were the be all/end all for games, why are so many PC games also on consoles?
Even Overwatch from Blizzard just came out saying that it will be available for PS4 and XBox One in addition to PC, though it had up to yesterday only been known as a PC game.
And frankly, graphics at this point are over rated in terms of the affects it has on enjoying gameplay. Look at how many games, like Birth of Isaac, Spelunky, Super Meatboy, and other games have come out with really old graphics on all platforms, and still saw success.
Hell, just look at Minecraft. It is one of the most successful games ever, and has crap graphics.
People play consoles because they don't want the hassle of PCs, of upgrades, and making sure that everything is compatible, and up to date etc. They play them because they are plug and play. I don't ever have to check to see if my PS4 has the required specs for the game, I can just pop the game in, and I am off.

You open yourself up to the broadest possible market, it just makes sense.
So long as they offer a good product, and the consumer feels like they get their money's worth, then where is the harm?
That's what makes the world go round. People offer products and services for, what is hopefully, and appropriate amount of money. They employ people, so they can own homes, cars, and feed themselves and their families.
There are many unscrupulous business practices, many in video games, but simply porting a game from PC to console is not one of them.

Just curious, if it is about money farming, why are there console only exclusives that have never been ported or moved to the PC or even originated on the PC?
In saying that, One Eyed King is absolutely right. I started gaming on a PC and I will be returning to PC gaming once my computer has been repaired. However, the appeal of a console is the plug in and play aspect. Just turn it on and away I go.
PC you have to turn on, log in, log in to steam, oh wait windows updated and is now forcing a restart. Restart, go back in.
PC gaming does haves its merit, and I do like gaming on my PC, but if I want to just chill out and relax, I prefer my console over my PC.

In saying that, One Eyed King is absolutely right. I started gaming on a PC and I will be returning to PC gaming once my computer has been repaired. However, the appeal of a console is the plug in and play aspect. Just turn it on and away I go. PC you have to turn on, log in, log in to steam, oh wait windows updated and is now forcing a restart. Restart, go back in. PC gaming does haves its merit, and I do like gaming on my PC, but if I want to just chill out and relax, I prefer my console over my PC.
You actually log out if steam?? You also still use windows?? Get the steam OS man dual boot if you have enough space

Yes I log out of Steam, and I also log out of Battle.net. It is my own personal preference as I constantly change my password for both. Have had many problems in the past where my accounts have been hacked and I have had my WoW account banned multiple times because of hackers using bots on my account.
On the plus side, the botter did purchase WoD on my account so I got the expansion for free.

This is true.
According to the CPM that were at FF 15, plenty of EVE players expressed interest, and have on Reddit as well I believe, when discussing a recent interesting and meaningful point of contact with FW between Dust and EVE.

I use windows 7 as My preferred os.
Don't know much about Ubuntu or linux.
Steam os also does collect your data. I happen to have a steam account,preparation for my own rig(when I have money and a place to set up for it)and they don't keep track of scams with just word of mouth,they collect info.
And I don't have to worry about my data being collected,I don't tie credit card numbers to any of my accounts. I use prepaids only, no adress info in any forms,maybe a phone number and email but nothing else. My personal info is bare to prevent identity theft. I'm a pretty firm believer of living in reality and the digital world but keeping low footprints in both and keeping them separate.
