Because it would be way more accessible to a larger public, it would add a great free to play to a very tiny list (unlike PC that has thousands and thousands of f2p), it'll keep the same community, still work flawlessly because the ps4 isn't as bad as you may think ^^

These are the best point of bringing it to consoles IMO. Then you're maybe right about Sony, but I think the arguments above are overcoming this point.

I love cardboard boxes. But golden old boy. The ps4 has 8gb of ram.

The ps3 has 512 split between CPU/GPU.

That fact that CCP was able to make dust run on that short amount of ram is amazing is it not?(albeit not properly due to server lag,and over detailed items and massive maps)

The server upgrade that's happening next year for eve will help the game if it lives that long.

And think. 8gb of ram is decent enough to play games. Dust in its current state would probably run a little faster on next gen consoles.

If we had a port now,then CCP would give us dust at 1080p 60fps or higher if we only had a engine upgrade and kept everything we did have.

The moral of the story is,PC isn't the best and neither are consoles. But unlike Pc elitists want to think,consoles don't have potato's for operating systems.

But from a business standpoint I'd port to the next gen consoles first to generate cash,then release a PC version that's off the charts in all the graphics and details and frames but first you gotta take baby steps. Work out the kinks. Not just jump straight to one thing and then bomb out.

Did Sony touch you in no no spot? Do you even have a PC capable of running 4k moniters and games? I swear man. This is why I hate video game communities sometimes. Always someone waving their epeen.

PS. Planetside 2 runs 1080p 60fps and has giant maps with huge battles all the time,yet I never really go below 40 frames the explosions are everywhere but I never go below.
PSS. Yes I have seen 4k TVs and I am afraid what they will do to humanity. Most of us are glued to phones already.

Actually, the Eve community showed they had no interest even after the Legion announcement. And that was gonna be pc. So if they cant get Eve players you really think they are gonna get any others will come? Better to go console imho.

Consoles and PCs are like the lady cats.


On one paw,consoles are cute,dedicated,and hardy girlies who while they flirt for anyone,usually entertain their owner the most.

On the other paw,PCs are demanding ladies who gobble away at my wallet for the best of everything,but make up for it with graphics that hurt my eyes with its smooth frames and sexy graphics.

Ps4s are 350$ in america. Pre built. I'm using that price.

I use windows 7 as My preferred os.
Don't know much about Ubuntu or linux.

Steam os also does collect your data. I happen to have a steam account,preparation for my own rig(when I have money and a place to set up for it)and they don't keep track of scams with just word of mouth,they collect info.

And I don't have to worry about my data being collected,I don't tie credit card numbers to any of my accounts. I use prepaids only, no adress info in any forms,maybe a phone number and email but nothing else. My personal info is bare to prevent identity theft. I'm a pretty firm believer of living in reality and the digital world but keeping low footprints in both and keeping them separate.

Not even trolling, a blu ray player is part of the specs for the PS4. Also, as I said twice before, you do not have internal cooling or a graphics card that is on par with the PS4. Yes I understand people download games as well, so where is the wifi adapater? The PS4 has the ability to use wifi, so it is part of the specs.

And they are not that rare, you can still get one. Your build is not even on par with the PS4, yet you claim you can make one for $350 that is superior.
