It is meant to be a slow tanky damage platform that is meant to be used with a squad as a force multiplier. It is meant to be versatile and ready for any situation presented.
What I want is for its role to be separated from the Assault, the two roles are too similar.

it doesnt seem to shine like the assaults do for slaying ...do you think it has to many drawbacks?
its slow it hasa fat hitbox average hp levels low recovery no grenade
all for what 2 light weapons witha innate 10% damage modifier
i dont think ive ever seen anyone slaughter witha commando at best whatever commando happens to have the swarm bonus atm can be found doing av....i rarely see a galmando plc...it doesnt have a grenade so i doubt its intended for av
..what is the point of these suit ? On the slaying part, it is great when you are with your team, best I've ever done was on my Gal Commando alt and I went 45/12 while sticking with the team in a Dom.

..what is the point of these suit ? Amarmando - (kind of useless now with the heat buildup) SR or ASR + Laser That would be fixed with this proposal

..what is the point of these suit ? It really depends on which commando you are using and for what purpose. If you take into account the bonus of each, it will help you figure out how to use each commando. I never use a commando for slaying only, with the exception being the Min commando. That one works well for holding down objectives, especially if it's indoors. All other commandos should be used for multi-purpose roles. For example: Galmando - AR + Plasma Cannon (great for tanks and LAV's) Calmando - RR + Swarms (you can use this for sniping too since it's damage applies to that) Minmando - CR + Mass Driver Amarmando - (kind of useless now with the heat buildup) SR or ASR + Laser so its an av suit? then why cant we give it a grenade slot? With its current PG/CPU? It won't even be able to fit a grenade even if it had that slot.

Again, what is the purpose of a third light weapon if it can't even use it because of its current PG/CPU?

Versatility, when you say that it makes my blood boil because that is exactly what the Amarr Commando isn't. Consider this. The Caldari Commando has 28 different weapon combinations it can use. You want to know how many the Amarr Commando has? 6, exactly six different combinations.

I consider "quite well" to be at least 30 kills or above.

Not that this is a **** measuring contest because seriously this started as a reply to illustrate the validity of soloing as a mando of any type but again I had about 5 minutes of play time before the team lost, and as for the amar commando response...again this was a post about commandos as a whole, but yeah the ammarr needs a buff right now. Bad...is the lr any good on them though? It is decent, but greatly overshadowed by the Amarr Assault.
However my proposal fixes that.
