I'm sure PC gaming is pretty cool for those inclined. I am going to pick on it a bit but I do know there are plenty of up sides to PC gaming too, however those upsides have no impact at all on my willingness to switch to PC gaming. For me it is a matter of preference, expense and convenience. I find PC gaming thoroughly unenjoyable, so apart from playing old-school classics that are nearly impossible to obtain again (like Legacy of the Wizard on NES) on an emulator I have no inclination to deal with PC gaming whatsoever and that isn't going to change for any game. I don't want to buy a gaming PC (don't have the money to do so anyway), I don't want to build it (again, $$$), I don't want to make room for it, and I don't want to fiddle with it when something goes wrong with it all for a free-to-play game. When my ps3 or ps4 messes up it kicks me from the game, then I reload the game. If it hard freezes I hold the power button and restart it, worst case scenario I unplug it from the wall and then turn it back on. Boom, all better. I don't have to search for the issue, I don't have to fiddle with settings, I don't have to check the game reqs, I don't have to do anything apart from turn on my system and TV and play my games.
That said, I do kinda hope they port to PC. I explained this yesterday: 'I half hope they do port to PC just so I never have to worry about whether or not this game thrives anymore. A PC port unchains me from this game indefinitely and with the amount of rage, frustration and effort I've put into both the game itself and the ideas going into it here on the forums I would actually be quite pleased if they would just let me be free of it.
On the other hand, if it goes to ps4... I may be stuck with this game forever.... and the sad thing is that I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I'm tethered to a game that is masochistic to play and care about and yet I still want it to succeed. I'm torn between desperately wanting it to just die or go to PC so I can get out of my life entirely and wanting it to be as fun as it used to be in Chromosome again so I could enjoy it like the old days...'
If they port to PC, then I have one more reason NOT to buy a gaming PC. After 3 years, I am exhausted from caring about it. I used to enjoy this game so much, but after Uprising hit it's been a long painful wait hoping beyond hope to see that level of fun, balance and playability return to this game. I just don't want to care anymore about this game that once filled me with excitement and expectation.
So I guess my last word on this is that I hope they port it to PC just to get it away from me. I don't want any more of this brand of 'hope'.

Yeah, he did agree with you. All except for all the ways he flatly told you that you were completely misrepresenting the ps4 and overhyping your preferred gaming method. It's embarrassing when a PC enthusiast constantly makes basic spelling, capitalization and spacing errors in every post and it's painful trying to read. You bore me, kindly find another venue for your ignorant rants. I'm filtering out your responses now because frankly I'm tired of reading them for many different reasons.

It moves to PC it will be competing again with alot more games which will be far more developed but has the advantage of being on PC along with EVE so EVE players can dip into it .
But this is just porting the game to another platform, all the core mechanics have to be upgraded aswell as the basics and there is still alot of problems to be fixed which can still exist on another platform.
CCP have left it too late in general, whatever they decide to do they will be playing catch up and if they do nothing at all it dies on PS3.
Very rare that I ever agree with you on anything Taki, but this is one thing with which I can fully agree with you on.

I have a sneaking suspicion the game would never be sufficiently optimized either.
Hiring people who know what they're doing could also prove too difficult for CCP. Beta testing is fun. Just not for several years.
It would also suffer from scrutiny if ported to PC because of all the money spent on the game by console players who wouldn't be able to follow it to PC. That would make for some really bad publicity. But we'll see.
