I think they should increase the range back where it was but have damage fall off with distance. When I fly a dropship, swarms seem to be fair to play against close up but when you fly away 390 meters and they still hit you so hard it just isn't right.

The amount of damage is what should be dealt with, not lock range or distance it can travel. Which pretty much means nothing to a halfway competent dropship pilot... Why would we need a buff to the most easy to use weapon ... you don't even have to aim ! People crying over this is ridiculous. If nothing , forge guns should get a range buff.
