Some people obviously don't understand advertising...
First of all, it costs money. The cost of marketing many AAA games vastly exceeds Dust's budget.
Then, you need to recoup costs, on top of still spending on operating, improving, Sony's cut etc. There is no guarantee that the marketing will be successful.
If new player retention rates were sky high, and if there were enough of them spending money, I would say maybe there was a chance advertising could make a major difference, but that isn't realistic. We all know the state of the game, and it would be a waste of money at this point to advertise.

Squadding? most squads are 4 people talking **** while playing the same as when they solo. Occasionally one spawns a logi gets shot and complains because the other three ran off.
