I'm gonna send in a trouble ticket for every load in black screen I get in the span it takes me to attempt this event.
CCP you need to suspend your event until you fix the black screens.

Don't spawn in in expensive suits, suicide and play on.
Spam those tickets though, because a crybaby who won't use a simple workaround is exactly what this game needs more of.

Well maybe if Dust had a larger dev team they could fix it. But considering the team's current size, I would just be patient, Archduke has already explained that they are working on fixing it.

I've found out that the black screen only appears at the first spawn (if it even appears).

You do know when you get spawned in on a black screen you are in a completly empty suit =P
I think black screening is because our suits are not loading up so we get put in a blank blind suit. |

IF people actually cared to do research, when you suicide when you have a black screen you do not lose anything. Not your suit, weapons, equipment, etc.

Reminds me of the old "Skills not loading" glitch.
You would spawn in a suit, but none of your skills applied. No passive skills, nothing.
Had to switch suits to get it to work.

The black screen issue itself happened to me twice so far, and agreed, it is not fun. As many stated before me, smashing start till Neocom comes up, then going back to the battle can put you in a funky state where you have no weapons and can't run. Switching suits at a Supply Depot then can completely resolve the issue. I need to try if calling vehicles is even an option in that weird state, that may be another option to resolve.

Yes I know but more than the majority of friendly new guys don't have a clue. Nor do they know the forums are a thing.

No, the sarcasm part is fine, the part I deleted could've been reported as personal attack, which is against our Forum rules, and might have resulted in a Forum ban from our Community team. No progress yet. As I said, I only ever encountered this twice. And I've been playing a minimum of 3 hours a day since Foxfour.

I just would really like to see more focus on the broken things in game. It seems that there are quite a number of broken things that have virtually went untouched for a very long time. Players are saying they've been doing some of these glitches for months!
No pressure, but some of the maps that are notoriously laggy are still notoriously laggy?! There are still items you can't sell. Bpo's that are not able to be sold still. The mist/haze is just aggravating, and probably causes lag?! Hit detection vids all over youtube.
I know you guys are shorthanded, and trust me I know what that feels like. Wouldn't it just be more productive to let balancing take a back seat for a little while for fixes? I know we cried about the AR, me personally, but I'd love to see some serious level of fixes to issues over rifle balances. That's just me.
Love the work you guys are doing, and I will continue to help the community in any way I can! Currently working strong with new players, and advocating for guys to squad more in the forums. You can do this CCP! Make this game blow COD out the water! o7
