CCP, please fix. Ever since like a week before FoxFour, many of us, maybe even all of us have experienced it and it's very annoying.
The black screen-
Deploy into match,
Select spawn point,
Spawns but nothing appears,
A black screen takes place,
What most of us do is press start to show the menu and commit suicide and spawn again. This usually works although sometimes there is still a black screen that goes away. What happens next is your character has no weapon and is standing as if inside of warbarge. You cannot run or shoot.
I usually got to supply depot and this usually fixes.
FIX THIS. ITS ANNIYING. 10+ matches in a row this happens. You see everybody in the match commit suicide.

I haven't experienced it myself but several of my corp mates have. Had a match last night where both teams were down a dozen clones each because half the team was experiencing this. |

I fixed this holding press Start Button, then the screen appears again. (Tested Yesterday at night).

Sometimes Pubs are more difficul than PCs, yea Scotty trolls you with a 16 vs 10 and anybody into squad

It's affecting a lot of people
Details are
Black screen
Can move
Can't fire weapon or presumably switch weapons
Cant throw grenades
Can see map overview
Of the times I've stayed it has eventually gone back to normal but matches were pretty laggy
Inertial dampener works
Doesn't appear to happen when spawning on links

I've had this bug and the strange thing is, if you can make it to a supply depo to change suits it fixes the issue. Maybe gives you an idea where the bug is coming from?
It happened the day the servers came back on late too.

I also ran in to the same thing and on top of that I run in to the spawn bug to were I get the loading circle,I' am stuck in this until the match is over or the game kicks me out of match. And there has been times were I would go to spawn, when the counter hits 0 am removed from battle.

Hey guys, figured out how to get out of black screen. Spam in this order: 'start' L1 Circle (Default Controls) when you get out you will have no weapons or equipment, run to a supply depot and switch suits (different than the one you are in) the first time I switch I always black screen again. Repeat the process until you are out and not in a glitched suit, this hasn't taken me more than the second try. |

I deleted and reinstalled, then rebooted my PS3. First game back I got the black screen. 
I can confirm that mashing the "start" button can fix it, at which point you have to waddle all the way to the nearest supply depot and change your suit to regain functionality.
Taking another break from Dust until this and the lag subside a tad. o/

Mr Viking Overlord.... I already reinstall the game... the weekend before, This happen suddenly after Rattati "fix" another thing in each Hotfix 
Black Screen FIX = Suicide, leave the battle... leave the game.... Play Destiny or another FPS.

Just a bit of information to hopefully help with this:
Players that have spawned into a black screen have their character model in what looks like a default, un-animated pose but their arms are down by their side rather than stretching out. They can move but it's only their legs that are animated.
It was possible to interact with them, I could melee a blue and I would see their shield effect go off.
When I had a black screen and I suicided, as soon as the death animation started the scene began rendering in.
I've cycled between spawn > black screen > suicide > pick somewhere different to spawn > black screen etc. a few times today (yay apex suits) and eventually I would spawn correctly (except for the few times we backed out because squad mates). I wish I was taking more notice, but I can't remember seeing any pattern to it.
Hope that helps a bit.
EDIT: Another thing, it seems to be specific to the battle. I could tell when I got one because I'm a slow spawner (lol playing Dust from Aus) and I'd get a lot of 'x committed suicide' at the start. Spawning in usually confirmed it. It didn't appear to happen to everyone though as the objective would usually get hacked in the normal amount of time.
If you didn't get any suicides at the start then it was usually not going to happen at all.
Something is killing new player retention.

I try reinstall yesterday.
But black screen again .
1. Without association , MCC , grand or uplinlk respawn.
2. If faced black screen , must suiside 2 times.
3. After 2times suiside , 3rd respawn become normal.
i hope early fix .

Not region specific as I'm EU (UK specifically) and was getting black screened. Only seemed to get it from default spawns and CRUs, wasn't getting it on Uplinks or Mobile CRUs on vehicles.

I started a second thread labeled BSD - Black Screen of Death. It's possible the CCP folks have already read the info and are using it. But it was suggested that I add the info from it to this thread which already has a GM associated with it, so they will definitely be notified (aware) of the info.

In short the problem seems to effect several players in a match at the same time and is no longer restricted to the first game of the day. I'm surmising here - that anyone's first game of a new launch of Dust can cause the problem to occur and effect other players in the same match.

The problem seems to be spreading. I've encountered it not just in the first game I played - today, which I did, but 2 games in a row and I've been logged in for over an hour.
It seemed to effect large numbers of both teams these times. Both were Dominations, if it matters.
I was also kicked out of the match after a minute or two.

I was able to get to a supply depot in the first match and changed suits. Didn't solve the problem. I switched to a second suit - things seemed to be going fine for me (several players on both teams committed suicide). I ran toward the point - got to a place I liked to drop uplinks - hands were there but no image of the uplink. I tried my other equipment (running logi) only weapons would appear and work, everything else was invisible and would not function. Approx 1-2 minutes into the game - got booted out of the match.
Next attempt was a little different, I spawned just fine, but several people from both teams committed suicide - frankly it seemed like the whole red team. I ran toward the point. Dropped an uplink. ran further dropped a second one. Killed a red player, shot at some others. My teammates were also shooting, killing and dying. I switched from weapon to scanner and no scanner image. I switched again, hands yes, no injector. Got booted from the match.
