Same. Needles are useless unless your in a tight group team and you communicate to each other to not die out. If your solo i dont rely on my team to go out and attempt to pick me up. Im so used to dieing out i forget to think about near by logi's

I try and help anyone that is down but if its to far, or I know I'm going to go down trying to help its better to stay with your group and keep repping and laying down support. Cause if you go down and the links run out, or your sentinels or commandos go down the point could be lost. If I know I can pick someone up I always try!

It'd be nice to have a z-distance stat for distance to / from help. While I'd love to hop down ten meters to revive you that means I've got to give up an overwatch position I can't get back to without respawning or worse yet a snake pit of reds like the meat grinder tends to create. |

As a self described master logi I can weigh in on this. Logi's need to support their fellow logis as a first priority the only example where that isn't true is when there is a swarm of reds at the door and you need to keep your heavy up.
Logis, or great logis that is, usually work in tight teams of two with one beast heavy and one scans scout to clean up messes and drop remotes.
Who you describe as "logis" are not logis at all and should be called by their proper names "point whoring scrubs" |

I don't press it if I am running solo because I am usually in the thick of the fight and a reptool being put away just to pick my ass up puts the rest of the team in jeopardy.

Mostly a problem when corps que against each other with that in mind, isolating one guy while a group killed you... I couldn't even stop them ( try and respawn away ) they did it so quick. |

The second i go GalAss with 4 complex reps and a complex reactive, i get logis up my ******* ass! Yea i should be ******* grateful that i have useless logis on my back. But the second i die, nope no needles!

I believe as a logi your responsibility to your team should be to carry top gear. I have my logi suits set up with all Proto Equipment and those suits are quite expensive; most matches I whip out my Logi Suit I go negative in ISK. It doesn't bother me to go negative though because I don't focus on ISK efficiency in any particular match, I focus (somewhat) on ISK efficiency over many matches. |

I'm a Min Logi and I laugh when others say this. It's usually to work towards their own good rather than the benefit of the one killed. Some don't like the kdr to take a hit. If you carry a Wirikomi needle I yield.  |

On the flip side.
If I dont stick you, its because you are in a kill box (Ill try if Im seperated from my squad) or Im currently repping someone whose life depends on me and mine depends on his. If I drop the leash we both die and you still arent picked up.
In any case as soon as its possible Ill come straight for you (proto needles are so cheap they are mandatory on my logi fits)
It's hard to beat up hundreds of armor piercing bullets using only your face...

Only an issue for those concerned about k/d ratio.
Logically, the game should never have been programmed to take a clone nor register a death to the player until the clone is terminated.

I have to admit, people have been awesome with revives lately in the pub matches I have played and have saved me a shitload of ISK.
Going to be needing them as I am about to play minja. Goodbye ISK.

Give me pro needle, and leave that rep tool "position giveaway tool" where it is. You guys get more points to pick up with bs needle then rep. We stay alive if you pick us up with 80% needle, and we both shoot!

On a positive note, if deaths didn't count until the clone died the kd boys would x up!!
To get a kill you should have to terminate clones. If he gets picked up it shouldn't count as a kill.
CCP can't say they can't do it because they did the million clone events!
