Every weapon should have a scope attachment ability.
3 different scopes, 1x, 3.5x, and 6 or 8x
And the sniper coming with it's original scope, but with down scaling abilities to the previously mentioned.
I don't know why we're discussing this, CCP won't or can't add anything like this.

I don't know why we're discussing this, CCP won't or can't add anything like this. because it can be and if we ask for it we will even if only eventually will get it, this isn't something that should be hard to agree on like many other issues can be so if the community as a whole agrees on a general idea then we can make a push to get it implemented for now just gathering the details so that someone can make a pitch and or start a petition to get this added CPM involvement could help out with this and represent us like they are supposed to, if the community voiced by CPM members gets this to be at least considered we could possibly see it soon and it may add more possibilities depending on which idea we end up agreeing upon

Either your high or delusional, have you seen some of the awesome ideas backed by the whole community that have gone ignored over the years? Thread after thread, post after post, of the same things. Excellent things too, where are they?
Did you realize, at the loading screen some times, it shows all the icons that are supposed to be used in the game? Like the vehicle indicator icons for the maps? There is a heavy air unit, a medium vehicle, and a "command node" that has never even been used.
You do realize that we only have 2 different MCC's in a game with 4 factions? Not to mention the vehicles too.
Putting all that aside, they can't fix the majorities problems with lag. They can't remove he galente lag facility map, I'm genuinely under the impression they don't know how, since more the half the community whine and moan about that map and beg them to remove it from rotation.
I could go on, I really could, but my point is you shouldn't really expect to make an impact on CCP, they don't care about us that much.

You can see any enemy perfectly fine with the default iron sights or scope the guns come with when they are at the range of the weapon. Why would you want a scope that zooms to allow you to see enemies you cannot even hit with your gun or have their hand fill the entire scope when they are at optimal weapon damage range? Plus, if you like scopes there are weapons with them already, choose those. If you like iron sights choose the guns with iron sights...
You... you did read the title and first post of the page right?
It's just a thought about what I would like to see implemented. Personally if I could have iron sights for every gun I would be happy, I like those the best. But some people can aim better with a scope.
You do understand the kind of magnification 1x and 3.5x will give right? 6 to 8x can be used for longer ranged guns, even if not most guns still hit at optimal damage for that magnification too.
This is a theoretical and hypothetical discussion about scopes on guns, I still choose the ones we have to my liking, I assure you.
