This supposedly makes the TTK's close for the suits anybody use (me being a huge MLT user), and can actually take down someone when you don't have enough ISK.
And if the Dust Team looks at this and actually considers this, could you restrict every proto/officer item? Even if someone puts a proto weapon on an advanced suit?
Maybe you want to keep the game in a more free kind of environment, which I have nothing against, because you guys created the game. But it is just something that I thought should be out there.
Fair TTK's are great. This is why most PCs are very close and fair, because it makes more people use their strongest gear, not one team having a MLT suit because they can, and the other full proto. This is probably why people hate "unbalanced" teams, just saying.
This goes out to all you cool CPM dudes out there too. Keep up the great work!
This is what I would like but I would make an exception for APEX Suits; they are listed as Proto but really fall somewhere in between Standard and Advanced Suits. |

My advanced fit dumps on most newbies full proto fits because I have every single attribute maxed out. At least now they can pull out proto in an attempt to counter me if you wish. You can restrict it to militia suits in pubs and newbies still going to get stomped by coordination and higher skill bonuses.
More armor More shields More module efficacy More fitting space More damage ...
That is before you count the fact that most of us have several suits and weapons maxed out for full versatility while newbs do not even have one suit properly maxed out.
You're being ridiculous.
Removing Prototype Gear from Public Contracts will help newbies in their overall experience in this game which might just help them stay committed to this game long enough to skill up their Core Skills.
Removing Prototype gear from Public Contracts will also help some of the veterans who, usually due to no lack of effort on their own part, get their ass whipped constantly. |

We don't have enough fitting slots for 10+ suits with STD through PRO variants. I literally don't have a fitting that isn't at least proto. You've got so many situational fits. But I also find myself on pathetic teams a lot and I feel zero shame in running proto.
You are correct about the fitting slots. We will definitely need more fitting slots; hell, even now I feel we need more fitting slots. |
