DISCLAIMER: I'm aware corporate functionality currently does not exist in the Dust beta, this is just me putting out the feelers nice and early. When we have a corporation sub forum, I will relocate this thread there. TL;DR at bottom
Khaliun Industrials (Name subject to change, might just be a place holder until release depending on feedback I get from people about it. I like it, though it's obviously more personalized for me lol. Let me know what you think)
Pronounced Kal ee oon Industrials, KIN
DUST Name: Khazra Khali'un (subject to first name change upon release) EVE Name: Viira Khali'un PSN ID: Undarus
Currently, I'm only interested in setting up trial runs with potential recruits, I will not hire anyone who I feel is incompetent or unable to take and carry out orders. Our corporation will have a strong emphasis on cooperative vehicular combat, and in that spirit we (as a corporation) will make it our priority to ensure a steady supply of vehicles (with all the fixins) to our deserving and faithful pilots. We will be in need of dedicated gunners as well, as I would like to have roles already established long before we hit the dust. I feel it goes without saying, but we will also be looking for infantry and logistics, you always need feet on the ground, so if you aren't a vehicle guy or gal you're still more than welcome. It's always nice to have artillery at your back, and out in space
As of this exact moment I am without a mic, though that will be 100% required (special circumstances possible, though not likely). We will make it a point to get some kind of system down for our chatter, so that way everyone is working in unison. It's kind of all speculation right now since we don't really know how corporations will actually be implemented, though we will strive to run drills (especially vehicular) as often as is reasonable / needed. We will be experimenting with logistics support to a few primary vehicles that will be decided upon shortly after release, and we will be working with all members to set up a training plan to get them into their required roles as quickly as we can without gimping their initial progress. These things will all be hammered out the closer we get to release / shortly after release.
There will be a very strong emphasis on teamwork and the ability to follow and carry out orders, and we won't tolerate behavior that is counter intuitive to those ends. We aim to make our members wealthy and powerful, able to wear their allegiance with pride and honor. At first we will be a smaller, close knit corporation, so that we may assess each member individually and find a place for them within the ranks, without getting inflated with less coordinated or lower skilled players. I will personally assess each and ever recruit once the game goes live, over whatever length of time is needed. When we go live, this corporation will be built with the intent to last, and to conquer many foes.
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, leave your psn ID (or whatever it is), so that I can try to track you down once the game actually goes up, I will work on finding a better way of getting everyone together (perhaps a small website, I'm not the best with that but I might be able to get something off the ground there). Anyways, I look forward to testing you, and hopefully you've got the fire that we need in each our soldiers.
TL;DR: I will be starting up a corporation with a strong focus on cooperative vehicular combat once I am able, just looking for people who are interested in possibly joining in the future (everyone will go through try outs with me before hand) |

Just FYI: You most likely will have to unlock the specific skillsets and amass a great deal of ISK to even be able to form a corporation. Therefore, even though you do have access to the beta, it may still be quite a while before you actually are able to create a corporation, especially due to whatever progress we made during the beta being reset upon release. |

I don't think it will take more than a week to train up the relevant skills to get the corporation off the ground, it will be a priority in my training queue for sure. I don't think CCP would make a game based around corporations and then make it impossible to actually get one started. I intend to use the fact that knowledge is power to my advantage in getting a leg up over the competitors |

Howdy! As we have said to other people, there is not yet corporation functionality in Dust. When there is, an appropriate subforum will likely be created! Please wait until such a forum exists for recruitment threads, just to help keep forum clutter down :) |

Or you can just create the corp in eve and have the dust mercs join on launch, dust and eve players can be in the same corp |

I'm aware, I don't see how getting together some like minded folk early on could be much harm though. I hardly think a thread like this is somehow more detrimental to our community then OMGZPWNZORS SL HEAVIES SO OP OMG THE LAG!!!
So, thank you, but unless a mod wants to lock this, I leave the offer open to those who are interested in getting the ball rolling long before we hit the hill |

Personally, I am going to look for a corp made up of older players. I am tired of hearing snot-nosed sniffling in the mic. I'd rather hear severe hacking due to emphysema.
I may even join (cough)swarm or some other large eve corp. |

I am interested, and have the ability to get the corp created in Eve, then transfer CEO rights to you once your character has the necessary skills to run it, and the final Dust product has been released.
Note: I am a 4 year veteran of Eve but fairly new to FPS (I typically have a 1:1 kill:loss ratio and am improving) - I look forward to getting better but feel my strength would lie as a gunner, and not a pilot. If you are unfamiliar with Eve (not sure if you are a player), I am happy to provide any information about the game that is needed and relevant to our success in Dust. |

Until I know for sure the nature between Dust corps and Eve corps (if you have a link stating for sure that we can transfer that would be cool), I'm not going to worry too much about having the corp actually formed before hand.
I've played EVE on and off for about 6 months, I'm somewhat poor so holding a sub is a bit of a pain sometimes >_< My character on there is Viira Khali'un, I do a lot with PI with her and last time I played was training up interceptors and stealth bombers to stay useful without blowing too much ISK per death. I was making about 7-10 million ISK per day off of PI when I was actually running it, and I plan to hop onto that account sometime before Dust hits to finish training up the last little bit of my PI skills (to help us identify valuable planets, I'm very curious to see how PI changes with the introduction of Dust, I'm guessing the winter expansion will coincide with Dusts release, and I would imagine we'll get an overhaul to the PI system at that time)
We will also need EVE vets as we're going to need to have a section of the corp dedicated to the EVE side of things, manufacturing, orbital bombardments, planetary scans etc etc.
If you can leave you me you psn ID thingy I will make sure to keep you posted, and thank you for your interest (and more so for the offer, which I will certainly consider). |

Well I'm not an old fart, but I'm 24, and I'll only be taking on people who I consider serious players. Hopefully I'll be thorough enough in my initial screening to just not have to deal with too many of those kids, though don't forget, kids are so often MONSTERS at these games...so, it will all depend I suppose. If I find a kid who's a little annoying on comms but has a 3.5 KDR, always caps objectives and follows orders...well, we would hope he'd mellow out a little once we got things rolling a bit >_<

There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting the ball rolling early.
I have personally been reading up on EVE lore and prominent corporation names for a few days now.
I suspect people will be getting invites left and right on the first week from people trying to start a foothold which will turn into their own mini empire.
I really hope there's a special corporation of all the beta testers.
We should organize a BETA corp just for memories sake.
I digress.
I can't promise to be a part of your corp; but I support your efforts. When we all know more about the corporation system then I'll probably feel a bit more comfortable with making promises. |

That's perfectly fine and understandable, I'm just looking for people to run try outs with anyways, I'm not just gonna take the first people who are interested lol. I intend for my corp to be much smaller at first, so I can build a strong base to grow from. As this is New Eden, you have to always be wary of betrayal and other such corporate shenanigans, so I aim to take it slow at first.
Thank you for your interest, I'll try to get ahold of you once the game goes live to see if you're still interested / available.

I have awesome production skills. How much money does the corp have? Which blueprints do you own? If you give me access to your production items, I'll fire off a bunch of gear for you. |

I can't wait to find the first person who decides to try and screw us over, we will hunt them down till the end of existence, killing them over, and over, and over again We will also contract out others to do the same, and we'll make them wish they never even downloaded DUST in the first place
I never got to run a corp in EVE, are their different levels of hanger access? Like, could I have a hanger for newer players with just a bunch of lower end items that they can be free to use, without giving them access to the prototype gear and vehicles and such? |

hanger access is pretty customizable with the use of station containers...i mean no, not customizable at all :P you have to give full access honest :P |

If I had 1 isk every time I've heard that.
Yeah there are 7 levels of hangar access. You can put anything you want in any hanger. You can label any hanger whatever you like. Also, you have view and take permissions you can assign to any hanger.
Also there are storage containers that can be password protected to the same degree.
P.S. We accept your challenge. |

Awesome, that makes me happy, I like being able to split things up to better organize the corp in general.
Also, bring it

Hey, you have spaceship pilots in your corp? or plan to recruit? My spaceship pilot is positioned to be a warbarge pilot.
So if you don't already have someone lined up with the abilities to transport your equipment from planet to planet, let me know. I can handle that for you |

Right now I don't have anything, my EVE account is closed on account of me being poor lol. I fully intend to have a section of the corp dedicated to EVE players, though it will likely be much smaller for some time. If we need hauling in DUST, I will certainly appreciate it (though I know how dangerous and scam ridden hauling can be lol). That actually brings up a good point, I wonder if we'll actually have to move our stuff around from planet to planet, or if it will simply always be available. Hmmm.
That would make planetary blockades so damn brutal, cloaky haulers for the win lol >_< |
