I don't care if they make it so the pilot dies, I've never bailed from my dropship before so I'm not about to start now.
But if they auto kill passengers then that's just ******* stupid. It's already the worst option for troop transport, making it even worse isn't going to help make dropships anything other than infantry farming machines.
You should promote teamwork, not punish it. |

God damn it. Was really hoping for that to have a positive turn-out "Dropships should instantly explode" Said no passenger ever. It's bad enough they can't see **** from inside the ship or tell what's happening to the ship.
It's bad enough transport is highly discouraged in this game, if you make dropships instantly explode they will NEVER be used as anything but solo killing platforms. Lock the pilot in, but passengers should be able to bail up until it hits the ground and explodes. |

Could you stop nurfing the holy crap out of vehicles
Please read carefully. I support death at zero, as long as pilot suicide when bailing out is fixed, and passengers are sufficiently forewarned. Love it or hate it however, the numbers behind this change are tricky, and that's why it currently has a status of "No." How can passengers be "sufficiently forewarned" in any way other than letting them bail between it hitting zero and exploding at the ground?
They have virtually NO situational awareness inside the ship, and death can literally come out of nowhere. If passengers explode at zero too, then it is impossible to give them any warning.
Also, as someone who has flown since Mordu's Trials, having the ship fall to the ground and explode is awesome. Exploding at zero would be lame as hell. Lock us in at zero that's totally fine, but crashing and exploding looks cool. |
