There's no sense of anything anymore and it is riddled with hippies who would glady get penetrated in the anus without lube if it was for some twisted sense of morality in what is right. We are both English.
This is purely anecdotal but it's a terribly boring and bland place to live after you've done it all. All that is left is tv soaps, pubs, possibly drugs and TV.
Let me just make this clear to any UK nationalists who feel like getting defensive. I HAVE BEEN AND DONE EVERYTHING IN MY 28 YEARS OF LIFE THAT THIS MISERABLE SOGGY ISLAND CAN OFFER, OK?. I'VE DONE ALL OF IT, THE CAVES, HIKES, SITES,CLUBS, BEACHES, PLACES OF INTEREST, YOU NAME IT, I'VE DONE IT (obviously not on the macro level but those things can be done anywhere). David Cameron was the last straw for me and while he has not affected me and my missus negatively, i've seen it on other people and it disgusts me.
Naught but a posh toff party the government now. A joke and an embarrassment.
Anyway rant aside, my question is, does the USA really have a lot of opportunity and what kind of freedom can i expect relative to a US born citizen?. Will I be expected to spell things wrong? i.e color instead of colour.
I have 3 A levels in Art, business studies and English literature. I have an NVQ in IT I have an NVQ in landscaping and gardening I have 5 gcse's all B's and A's other than my C for maths as i was lazy but maths is not my strong point and calculators>maths anyway. Next year i am going to university to study philosophy and psychological studies and it is after this that we would like to move. I plan to take this further as well.
I have a criminal conviction of drunken violence and did 18 months in prison. This could be an issue but i am not a "proper" criminal and i have not committed any offenses since then and have no plans to commit any in future. It was provoked anyway. Apparently this isn;t an issue as i have not committed any other crimes and the nature of it isn't bad.
I know this is a strange place to post and ask but other sources are taking ages and 1 of them was rude as fk but luckily i know that morons like that do not represent the majority of US citizens.
You will actually have greater Freedom/Liberty than in the EU or UK. As an visa holder you will be treated just like any other person, only you will not have the right to vote, and if you become a citizen the only position you could not attain to would be the Presidency.
Finding an international company and having them sponsor your move would be the cheapest way of getting to your goal. There are so many companies and fields to choose from.
I would look at your educational goals and align them with a career and company, and start corresponding with the HR departments of a few of those companies.
Good luck and don't worry about spelling, as we have already imported millions of illiterate central Americans.

TechMechMeds wrote:Food is also a big issue.
We would like proper cheese, milk that isn't filled with crap, on the off chance we want a cheeky burger and chips......real burgers rather than pink slop and cartilage that is compressed into burgers that i know is all fine and dandy in the USA while here, illegal or well labelled to let people know that what they're buying is rubbish.
Is high quality food a rarity and hard to come by?. I don't care if that offends, it is well documented that the USA's food standards are a bit laxx. I've bought food from the US here and by law new labels have to be put on the products to show what is actually in the food, over the top of what people in the US see, which is not the full truth.
Companies in the USA can get away with not being totally honest to the public and i'd like to be able to avoid that. We get crap food here but by law the companies have to list everything that the product contains and to clearly label the product in a way that lets people know the quality of what they're buying.
For instance mince meat here will be labelled to let you know if it's slop with cartilage or proper lean mince. It also has the fat percentages and collagen percentages so we know EXACTLY (actually they're fairly accurate estimates but still) what we're buying.
What's the situation with that stuff in the USA?. I already know that you guys don't get told the full ingredients as food products from the USA have to be re labelled here so we can see exactly what we're eating.
You have a case of serious misinformation, because everything above is incorrect. Check your information sources.

This is just 1 among many things that worry us. I'm not going into a debate because there isn't one. USA food standards are sub par but as stated further back, we can buy organic food if needed and this doesn't necessarily mean crap on the micro level.
I am however fine with GMO's provided they are done ethically. GMO's are good when done right and the hippies are getting far too loud about it when they don't know sht.
If you are going to base your reality on this-then stop taking all of the life saving Pharma that we research, fund and then produce.
Maybe you should question the who's and the why's that the EU is restricting food.
You brought up pink slime- here is the news on the news, ABC who reported the story, and all the lib-tards from the EU picked up on, is being sued for 2 billion dollars for "making it up".
I find it utterly humorous to read and listen to EU, the BBC specifically and hear "talking points" picked from our libtarded press expressing opinion and not the NEWS!
If you are a SAXON dog stay in the UK, we only want Normans!
