There is a previous proposal that deployable equipment of all types have a precision rating. This would passively give what you are talking about to Amarr scouts.
I 100% support giving a precision rating to all equipment and tiering it based on level and the adding special low precision variants later.

Do they not already? I'm pretty sure the have a profile of 45 - 36 - 28. The same as scanners. |

Nah. Remotes have a crazy low profile. Certainly lower than 18, which is the lowest an Amarr Scout can get.

Then why do they show up on Active Scans all the time?
It doesn't take a Gal Logi with a Duvolle to scan REs...

I dunno, man. I never pick them up on my passives. I don't use actives so I don't know what scanners do and do not pick them up.
Maybe they're just immune to passives?

The problem is that would by and large negate their purpose.
Mostly, all you need to do is flux any objective.

I have an idea: psychic Amarr scouts that can sense remotes if they focus their mind.
The player does a melee attack and keep holding the button for three seconds, then the active scanner built inside the armor is activated. The scanner works 360 degrees with low radius and shows intems only for an extremely short amount of time. |
