if the scanner gets nerferd then the gall logi WILL NEED to be buffed in order for it to do its job.
so options. 1. nerf scanner and buff gall logi bonus
or
2.leave them as is.

Thats the thing, EWAR/actives are apart of the game & meant to be tweaked around with to see what fits you etc etc... its such a touchy subject its insane. YEAH, and to that guy oh let scouts run free BS, NOW with current EWAR & such the majority FOTM have moved on since its not OPOPOP anymore.
I don't want super scout lyte assualts. I hated it then & do NOT want that. But i think Kirks idea would fix it. Yeah use something thats not OP anymore for an excuse to not have something thats a little OP looked at. Now for them to only scan heavies is ridiculous, but its still rock-paper-scissors thig.
DFS-3 COM damps & at least lvl 3? GS the rest you may need 1 damp or two but its still a counter, an inconvenient but its there
Come ON Sax you have the counters right there with you're 100M+ SP!

You can run scotsmans & bons. You can put three complex damps on your scotsmans and guess what else you can fit? Some HP, some equipment, some OP officers gear.
'I shouldn't have to run a counter to something to counter something i don't like because its inconvenient' is all I'm getting from you. You'd think you've learned after asking for increased payouts in pubs, when you were busy proto stomping against starter fits which shouldn't warrant high payouts anyway and losing ISK cause ya know proto is expensive, that screaming this on the forums wouldn't be the best idea man.
As for my concern Operative, scouts are assassins. Well there supposed to be anyway. Don't know how to do that, and if you say only sidearms for scouts then im going to say, make every light weapon for scouts only cause ya know were OP & s***, equipable in your sidearm slot. So .l. you unless you give me a reasonable reason for all this BS & why.
Scotsman scout with bons is OP because duh OFFICER gear OMFG FOTM scouts RIIIIIIIIISE!!! But the bons hit detection needs to be looked at a bit as well.

then what give the gall logi 20% to effectiveness of precion enhancments per level??? if you remove scanners gsll logi will need something like........5% increased R.E. radius per level. cant just out right say scanners need to go without a good reason. scanners counter undampened suits. dampened suits counter scanners......fully speccede gall logi counters everything except for double or trip complex damp gal scout. see the pattern here?

Buff profile dampeners so you only need 1 to negate all active scans
Taking them out is stupid, why remove a variable that gives logis more to do instead of just repping, reviving and replenishing ammo?
However having to have virtually 0 HP just to avoid scans is a bit silly
EDIT: Maybe 1 profile dampener for scouts, 2 for assaults and 3 for heavies

I have scanners lvl5 and I use them because it's the only way to counter them
They are useful in PC but in general it's a boring playstyle |

Flux are perfectly viable as they are, in fact they are my go to for the grenade slot. The addition of disrupting active equipment would likely push them over to the "OP why would you equip anything else" side of things. I have always thought this should be a separate grenade type. EMP grenadeGǪ nocks all Active Modules and Equipment into a cool down cycle. Increase radius by tier.

If Assaults could beat 15 dB with 2 dampeners, then why run a Scout? Knifing would be the only reason, and even then, with the significant HP advantage of Assaults, you could go 3 or 4 and be good enough at beating Inner Ring Scans.
This leads me to the second part, the fact that it would completely negate the Inner Rings, which were intended to be unbeatable, assuming you used some Precision Enhancers. If Inner Ring Scans can be beaten, what would be the point of Precision?
At that point you might as well remove the entire EWAR system, Active and Passive, and at least then you might get performance increases.
What would eventually happen, as if it hasn't already, is that with everyone blind, HP would become the sole determining factor.
We aren't doing ourselves any favors by making more problems than we are fixing.

If you limited the scan reveal to the teammates closest to you, (say 15-30 meters) instead of the whole team, I believe it could work. If you're having trouble with people scan-hunting you, why not use your scout? Or run damps on an assault? Instead of trying to nerf the problem, maybe you could try to counter it instead... I dont see why my whole team has to run less hp on their suit because of one person

I thought you could see cloaked scouts hit by fluxes anyway? It shows them taking shield damage last time I tried it.
