I actually feel like movement speeds across the board are actually quite well sorted. (I'm sure some will disagree) That being said I really do like the idea of "Rigs" (As they are known in EVE) which are pretty much what you stated. I.E I fit this rig into my rig slot and it will augment my suit. I.E I want more speed and I am willing to sacrafice hit points so I fix Rig X Oh I want more ewar ability but I am willing to lose damage or hit points or something - Fit Rig Y "Madness how we turned our common-ground into a battle-ground.." - Essa

It's slow as hell, everyone has more than 900 hp on assault suits because they can't strafe anymore and they have to compensate that with tanking Amarr logi, all scouts, amarr, minmatar and gallente assault, Caldari commando.
