That's because they don't want that .
They want to keep doing what their doing , like it has no true effect when it's the true cause .
You speak about this constantly , I made a thread about it titled , " Why Matchmaking is failing ." ... we're saying the same thing you and I , it's what most ( I'm sure ) know already but care nothing about doing because they need their crutches as well as to ruin anyone else experience .
Most in the community really don't care about the health of the game , they want a blue or red tag as well as being highlighted on a podcast , they come up with idea's centered around add-on's and not solutions to issues and on top of that , when people talk about the REAL issues , they get ridiculed and insulted with no backing except negative , even if what your saying is true .
These people have agenda's and if you look at what's going on , it's the " good ole boys " club again , the same rotation of friends are elected , same people get attention from CCP , they love to come to each other's defense and pile on the likes for troll threads and post , all the while the game remains stagnant .
Like I said , I'm done caring and I believe that CCP doesn't even care .
All people want to talk about is ports and new content , all the while the game is getting worse .
But they will tell you it's not that bad .
I guess those amazing numbers of retention tells them that story , the growth of this game is so expansive , that the people can just ignore the obvious .

They aren't looking for solutions , hell this idea isn't even a Band-Aid it's just flat out stupid .
When your in a situation like this where people are running from the cause and effect of a topic like , " Why do people leave battles ? " and you have players stating why from , having to attend to their children , wives , pets , just because they were placed into a match where their on a team of random players and the enemy team has one or two Q 'd stomp squads ( everyone doesn't have to be a glutton for punishment because YOU choose to be , CHOOSE means choice which your trying to take away from others ) and they just don't care to go threw the motions ... people have been saying reasons but some just are not getting it , some get DQ'd , hard freeze during matches and other game related internal issues on top of the now wear and tear of these types who don't care about your investment and now want you to continually turn your game off and on to leave battles , anyone with common sense realize that these people are running from cause and effect , they want to dictate their own rules on the community now and it's not like what their suggesting is actually going to help the game more then hinder it , it won't help retain numbers or help them to grow and in any case , it just promotes one to sit there threw repeated stomps , it's just foolish to even go back and forth with these types because they won't even notice the flaws in their proposals , nor do they care about what you think , have to go threw or feel .
This idea is stupid , I said it .. stupid and won't solve a thing .

Duh , this was the first thing I thought about when I seen this .
Simple and plain .
This just helps no one but the stompers .
