CRNWLLC Gangsta Gank 410	Posted - 2015.08.28 17:00:00 - [1] - Quote About a year ago, I was doing fine. Nothing spectacular, but I'd almost always go positive and my KDR was on an uptick. I'd mostly run a Gal scout with a scramble rifle, then I respecced into Amarr Assault, which I'd run with a scrambler rifle too. Good times. These days I get my butt handed to me on the regular. I have some okay games, but nothing like a year ago. After returning to the game from a months-long break, I respecced my skills into Min assault, Min scout, and Gal scout with racial weapons (CRs, ARs, SGs, NKs) to mix things up and boy does it feel like a mistake. Below are my typical fits. Please criticize/advise as you like. I'll take whatever I can get. Min assault I run a lulz fit with 3 myos, 2 kincats, 1 cardiac reg, an armor repper, a Krin's damage mod, an a compact nanohive. I use an ACR and SMG for these fits. I play this fit for laughs or getting to higher ground easily. I also run a frontline fit set up to mostly shield tank with three extenders, a recharger, a ferro plate, a repper, and two shield regs, and a compact nano. On this fit I use a regular CR and SMG. Min scout These days I run with 2 myos, a kincat, a cardiac reg, a damp, a cloak, and either an uplink or RE, depending on the situation. I go with an ACR and NKs for offense. I used to run it tanky-style with extenders and ferros, but do not do this anymore. Should I? Gal scout Just started using the Gal scout again for EWAR needs. My first variant on this suit uses 2 precision enhancers, 2 damps, a kincat, a cardiac reg, a cloak, and an uplink. This fit uses a SG and an SMG. The second version I intended as a flanker, with a myo, a shield extender, a cardiac regulator, two ferros, a repper, and REs. I've been playing around with cloak vs. nanohive--cloak doesn't seem to help this fit much. This fit is equipped with a tactical AR and an SMG. So, as I said, I am feeling the pain. I tend to have the most luck with the Gal scout and Min frontline fits, but that's not saying much. Since I started using biotics, it's hard for me to use less-mobile fits. I'm hesitant to jump (back?) onto the ScR wagon, and I'm sure I'm doing it at a least partly wrong with the fits I've been running, so any advice is very, very welcome. Thanks.

What would you recommend instead of the PEs? The only reason I have the cardiac regulator is because it seems almost necessary to make the myos workable. Thanks!

Shield Extenders are unlikely to help you as you will see lots of ScR/AScR out in the field, and they do more damage than the shield extenders will give you health wise. Personally I'd drop the Card as the regen is quick enough for Stamina. Toss on another Kin to get in and out for the knifing before they know you are there, or another Damp to reduce your chances of being scanned. I also find that the cloak causes more problems than it solves. The delay is to clunky and gets in the way more often than not. It works light for high exposure areas in bright light, but that is not frequent enough to justify it on every fit. MOAR Ladders SpadeGÇª Remember your Warbarge

I have all suits before and they are all great when fitted correctly. First off, you need to find what's your best play style. Short range- gallente Midrange- minmatar Long range- caldari and Amarr Next, find your role Assault Commando Logistics Scout Sentinel Find out both and then choose what's best for you. Example- You like long range and sentinel? You best choice is caldari sentinel- shields are great for long range. Slap on an assault hmg. You like short range assault? Gallente assault. Once you know what is best for you, fit them racially. Of course, feel free to use what you want but for max effectiveness, use racially. Here is the close to perfect racial layout all suits. (Hp and biotics only) Amarr (slow, tanky, low rep, long endurance) Light- 1 range amplifier 1 plate, 1 reactive, 1 cardio regulator Medium- 2 plates, 2 reps, 1 cardio Heavy- 2 plates, 2 regulators Caldari (shield tanky, quick shield recharge) Light- 1 precision, 2 extender, 1 recharger, damp and shield regulator Medium- 3 extender, 2 recharger, 3 regulators Heavy- 2 extenders, 1 recharger, (i don't remember caldari heavy layout actually) Gallente- (armor tanker, speedy, quick armor rep) Light- 1 Kincat, 1 ferroscale, 1 rep, 1 dampener Medium- 1 Kincat, 2 ferroscale, 2 reps Heavy- 1 Kincat, 1 ferroscale, 1 rep Minmatar- (fast, dual tank, reppy) Light- 2 extender, 1 energizer, Kincat, ferroscale, rep Medium- 3 extender, 1 energizer, ferroscale, rep, Kincat, regulator Heavy- 2 extender, energizer, rep, Kincat. I have a weird fit I use highs all complex precision enhancers weapons 2 creodron ion pistols nanohive m1 assault 500 armour can't remember what setup but with shield it's over 700, with probably 6 proto modules 2 proto sidearms, on an adv level suit! or you can dual tank at 700 easily even 800. if that's paper thin then seriously how much HP do you guys need?

Negative-Feedback 6	Posted - 2015.08.29 00:00:00 - [10] - Quote On my most efficient Pub fit, I run all Shield Extenders in my highs, with a Damp, a Kincat and a Ferro in my lows. Using two Kincats won't leave you with much room for other stuff. I find that an ACR works very well on the Minja, because it's good for CQC spray n' pray, and it's low on fitting costs. I run it with Ishukone Nova Knives (a must) and an ARN-18 Cloak Field with either REs or a Scanner. I've been having a lot of success with the Scanner lately. Make sure that Damp is at least Enhanced though, else you'll need to run two. Don't let anyone shame you for using a Cloak. Don't let anyone tell you that the Cloak is useless. In it's current state, the Cloak takes skill to use effectively, and it really rewards those who know how to use it well. Not sure that's possible, but a boy can dream. Seriously, though--if matchmaking exists now, am I placed with 1337 players because of a diminished player base? Either way, I really specialized my fits yesterday and had immediate positive results. GalAss for CQC, MinAss for midrange/marksman play, GalScout for radar invisibility, and Minja for mobility and hacking.
