INFINITE DEATHMATCH
So, a map is opened with 20 or so players on it.
Each player spawns randomly across the map in any suit they wish.
There are NO TEAMS, everyone is ON THEIR OWN.
As the match progresses, people leave and join the game as they wish (max 20 players). There is NO TIME LIMIT.
When you spawn, your kills are counted up until you die, and players fight to get the most kills in the match before they themselves are killed. This "kill record" is placed on the leaderboard in the game's player list.
ISK and SP are earned normally through warpoints, like in normal matches, except you can stay in the game and accumulate as much warpoints as you want earning tons of SP and ISK (until you reach the weekly SP cap).
Post your thoughts below. I hope you like this idea and that CCP can implement something like this into DUST 514.

The only equipment which would be most useful in this gamemode would be the scanner.

simple, players that recognize one another would team up and fight everyone else essentially dominating the battlefield
however if all targets are considered enemies then no it would not work
so either way its either broken or useless pick your poison
a simple solution would be to allow squads of two players essentially being able to have 10 teams of 2

This game mode would actually be consistently fun and have none of that "I have to stay in a ****** battle to get my skillpoints" baggage attached.
It would drain all other game modes.
You could make it even better by allowing vehicles and letting people share WP for killing the vehicle. People would randomly turn into "bosses" that everyone is trying to take down due to their inherent ability to quickly accumulate kills. |

Logis would work together with heavies until one of them wants to leave and then they kill each other. That is true teamwork.

1 match for each map. Stats for the previous day's battle should be available somewhere, so we can see who got the biggest kill streak. If you re-entered the same battle you would show up in the final stats twice, as it would track each match entry separately.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

This is what I assumed you meant when I read the concept. It is live from server start time to 5 minutes before downtime so the system has time to calculate & distribute ISK/SP/ etc.

So its a never ending free for all that people can come and go once acquiring X amount of SP? Not gunna lie, this seems awesome! just to have a never ending game going where you have a bunch of skilled players duking it out for a long time until they get bored XD and even others who are not veterans can still activate boosters and just get a huge bonus off of this super long game. A good start, i would love to see this go through XD |

It shouldn't be a infinite deathmatch it could just be a free roam/ free for all / kill what you see mode with thr same numbers of players would be better so 32~40 mercs, max sqds of 3 for cooperation n buddy support but for this to work ccp has to implement the drop instalations features like for how long we been waiting for this. It could be for warpoint or hell even CPs or isk for tht matter and the maps could be on a bigger scale with a few outposts. This is a hell of a good idea n even if ccp hands this or opens it for people or fans or amateur or willing desigbers it could be done in a month but why would CCP even give a damn about this thread all of wats written here is dust in the wind |

Much alike we could implement extraction MCC, lets think deadpool mythology mercs outcasts out on a map and every 20-30 mins an eve pilot or an NPC MCC could enter the space and mercs could fight for there way out. Fight until you escape. Ringing an eve pilot to open a ground portal leading to his ship to save you is cool interaction between both platforms and it would be sick. And the entrance could be like the one seen in the intro trailer but more scattered across the map. Lets just say this is the sickest idea ive read so far 07 |
