Are you perhaps special my friend??
Porting to PC and ps4 is a bad idea
PC is were it should go because ccps whole playerbase is there + no limitations and things would go fast
Fun fact:painting r33d flamez 0n computers mak dem goo fasta
Are you perhaps mentally deficient, stranger?
"CCP's whole playerbase" is not, in fact, on the PC, as evidenced by the numerous people who prefer console who play DUST.
'and things would go fast' is a pathetic justification for axing a substantial number, if not a majority of the loyal playerbase.
What I mean by things go fasta is that updates and minor fixes would be easy and fast to bring to us and not be delayed by Sony
Numerous?? You mean the 2k of the players who still play??
Lol eve online double digits > dust 514 2k
More people would play Dust on PC than ps4
...that's seriously your measure?
There's only around 2k of us left because most of us felt we got shafted by last year's FanFest, and before that the game released in a pretty poor state thanks to the mismanagement of the likes of CCP Jian, who aren't even with the company anymore (probably as a result).
I will remind you that even back when the guns had no Absolute ranges so a person 1 meter outside your max range would take no damage from your shots, the game still got a large number of downloads, and even back during the Open Beta in Chromosome the Battle of Caldari Prime attracted so much attention from both players and the Press because it represented PC players in space and Console players on the ground fighting for the same objectives simultaneously.
Obviously on the Dust side that just translated into a text blurb on the login screen and the later incorporation of the destroyed Titan into the backgrounds of the maps, but it was still a major factor in bringing in players.
If you look at EVE-Offline, even in the broken state this game has almost perpetually been in, we almost broke 10,000 at the game's launch last year in May.
It doesn't take much to imagine the kind of massive player count this game would have if it were fully functional and on a current-gen console.
