I use and have used all forms of HAV for quite some time now. 1.7 screwed up tanking and broke Armour HAV so fundamentally by instituting their primary repair values as a passive module with active level per second pulses with no down time and 0 upkeep required.

Hardener modules compound the issues significantly with periods of massive damage mitigation potential against time where the vehicle can barely function in a meaningful role until modules have recharged.

Moreover we have railguns that don't have explosive charge, .50 calibre plasma machine guns, and wierd arse direct fire rocket salvos that make literally no sense and Tank main guns.

I could understand if CCP retconed the weapon, nerfed it slightly, and made it a Medium turret for MAV's or even Medium AirCraft/ Fast Attack options. Tell me this game would be worse of ware if Gallente Large Turrets instead were like Short Ranged Cannister Shell/Plasma Shotguns, Tri-barreled Charged Electron Cannon like the old concept art, or even fired high density Plasma Cannon Rounds.
