The last time I felt as disappointed and upset with this game as I am now Michael Epic convinced me not to quit. His words of hope no longer resonate with me though. I play too many matches where I actually feel like I am being punished for something.
What motivates you people to continue playing this game? |

That and I have more Balac's ck.0s than to deal with. I can play and die in them till I'm shipped off and I'll still have a trove of them.

There is no reason to continue playing. After almost 3 yrs of playing I think I just need to quit. I should invest in drugs or something next

I still love the game, but it seems like so many people enjoy doing everything but FPS stuff after joining matches.
I don't play through it anymore though. I just turn it off after 2 or 3 crap matches in a row. |

Every other day I say 'Right, this is it. This time, I'm really quitting for good'. In fact, I even said it yesterday. I don't know why I keep coming back. There is no logical reason.

I think all the added features have exacerbated the hoarding mentality.
The only thing CCP should be focusing on is expanding team play and creating an environment where winning matters no matter the game mode. |

I apply that to my life, and in a smaller scope, to this game and thats why I stick with it. If I suffer through it, I can make it better for myself and others.

DUST or Call of Duty? I love DUST for it's homage to Team Fortress 2 and team oriented gameplay.Unfortunately that's dead.

Same reason why I never complain about a cloak in any game. I spent hundreds of hours, maybe 1000 hours spotting that shimmer in all kinds of silly terrain.

I just don't care.
I log in and collect my WB junk, try to get into a match. If my team actually stays in the match, I'll stay if not I just turn the game off.
There's no way I'm going to bang my head TRYING to get a good game, if it's broken it's broken try again later.

Just leave the game for a while. Go and play other things. That's what I do, give this game a break for a month or two and when you come back it really feels fresh and fun again.
You will soon realise that there is a lot of generic BS in terms of games out there. Dust has many issues, problems and bugs but it has a depth to the game that many other FPS`s dont.
