I have a wife, kid, and job that take up a majority of my time so I only get to play when the wife is at work and the baby is taking a nap (I also like to occasionally play OTHER games, not just this one). All because I CAN'T play as much as someone else, it doesn't mean I'm not dedicated to this game and trying to make it as good as it can be. This man is exempt based on the fact that he has actually made constructive posts. This is precisely the point.
I have seen sh!t posting from regular players (you think KTB or Duna would be contructive??). And I have seen less frequent players and new players give very good feedback.
Lots of players have left never to return. Others play less frequently, not because they don't like the game, but because they can't stand to play in the game's current state.
Do their opinions not matter?
Ghost has been playing Arma on his PC, but does that negate his previous experience and ability to communicate?
I don't think so.
Lastly, I seriously doubt that the biggest problem of this game has been infrequent players commenting on the forums. The CPM, particularly CPM 1 and I am confident CPM 2, are good at being filters. And I sincerely doubt that any Devs have merely taken the forums at the word of those posting and have not used their own data to figure out what perspectives are relevant or not.

Not a constructive counterpoint besides thokk, and one eye.
Magnificent. And yet your original post demonstrates how playing regularly does not improve the quality of posts.
Any sort of play restrictions for the forums does not elevate discussion so much as give those that play often some inane right to post junk while also preventing new and veteran players who play infrequently from being part of constructive discussion.
The notion that only people who play this game are capable of proper discussion, and those that aren't must not play was a flawed association from the start.
