After all this time I have come to realize 75% of the forum posters don't help.
Out of the original 100%.... 30% don't even play anymore.
I propose a 'seven hours in the last seven days' requirement to post on forums.
If you don't play, why should anyone listen to you? ESPECIALLY CCP.
Inb4 the king of those wretches posts.

One hour a day is too much? I have a life too.
I run my own successful business that takes at least 40 a week. Have a wife. Four kids. I 3-D model alot on my pc as a hobby. Have a night life.
And still could get 7 hours in 7 days.
I made this post whilst smoking during cleaning up my shop, while waiting on wife to call for lunch so I can 3d art while we talk, then jump on dust and crack one of my three beers for the night....
Now that I've typed this I guess I am a little crazy, but still....
my response so far...

Inb4 the king of those wretches posts. Posting to these forums is as much about entertainment for some people as it is about moving the game forward. Restricting those peoples access to these forums would do nothing for the game and would make for bad press, something Dust514 definitely doesn't need.
While I have little doubt CCP would fall for some of the more obvious tries.
I know for fact, that changes have been made based on non-playing peoples suggestions. And not for the daily players benefit.. (1.4 anyone?...)

I really don't care about people being entertained by the forums.
There's hulu and Netflix, shopping malls, and 4chan.
People should social ingame, and the forums should advance the game.
I would be OK with the restriction on Features and ideas section only.
Again, if you only get 3 hours of dust a month, how could you possibly know what we (the daily players) need?

Me ingame and me on the forums are night and day.
I've said it before for all to see. I hate most of you who forum.
Hence my bad attitude here.
In all my wonderful channels ingame, I'm known to give extra and often. Immaculate trade rep. Constantly leading squads.
My corp is often home to new berries, till they learn to fly.
But here... Great ideas drowned by a sea of stupidity. There's people who post in every single thread, and never contribute anything. People who haven't booted dust in a year still thinking they know what's going on.
Do I really think we need to restrict forums? Lolno
The newer players have the best ideas because they have yet to be snuffed out by the "community".
Are there people we could do without? Yup.
