I have a wonderful idea for how to get them to stop:
Quit worrying about stupid crap like 'winning' and 'losing' and 'KDr'.
Start focusing on Command Point production. Focus on Mission Completion.
Stop worrying about your damn self, petty confused mercs! Make it about something bigger than your pathetic clone's bottom line. You're just gonna die in the next battle! That's why the door is locked! There's no need to leave!
Want to keep them all fighting to the end? Give them a cause. Something to die for!
Want DUST to thrive? Want the Tide to rise? Want the Heath to burn? And clones to rise to their rightful place in the stars?!

G.L.O.R.Y. CEO: be advised, VF is not trolling or recruiting in your thread.
We are offering a serious option that does not require CCP to develop anything or change the game direction from its current state.
We are offering content driven towards the deep end of the pool. We are offering motivation beyond SP gain, KDr, isk collection and other hamster wheels that lead to burn-out.
We are providing the greater DUST community a choice - make the game a success or do not. The game is playable and fun enough that we are all here doing what we do. We have the infrastructure and tools to grow interest and involvement that will drive the PCU up.
If we drive the PCU up we can measure the impact on things matchmaking and game performance. But more importantly we can all have a better time with a game we love. Because we won't be grinding and worrying about W:L, KDr, etc.
You can fight for a cause. Help us over-turn the board. Wipe it all clean. I'm not recruiting I'm offering. If DUST dies it will be because we stopped playing.
Play for a reason. Make something different happen. If that's all the cause you need then great! There it is.
Need more? Do it for Ratatti - return on investment for his year of effort. Show CCP what we can do.
Need more? Do it for the good old times you all miss...Know how many old vets and forum warriors are in my corp chat?
Do it for whatever reason you want but stop asking what CCP can do for you, start doing what you can for DUST.
