An Incubus hull is 200,000. My most survivable fit is 316,000. That includes a basic hardener and basic afterburner, and 4327 of eHP. Only complex equipment is the turret and the armor repper.

1. Ignore it/evade/hide until it's somewhere else
2. Try the PLC instead of swarms, unless you've put a LOT of SP into swarms...Most DS pilots know how to quickly put obstacles or terrain between themselves and the swarms...
3. Get a vehicle of your own
4. Get a squad and work together
5. Find one of the rail/missile installations on the map and wait for the DS pilot to get careless
While I agree the balance of vehicle warfare is way off kilter, they really aren't that bad... |

Dropships aren't really much of a problem. They're really easy to keep at bay, even without Swarms. One shot from any AV weapon will generally send them scurrying. The problem isn't dropships doing their jobs. The problem is redliners, both tankers and snipers. It's one thing to peg a dropship or tank actually partaking in battle and send them running for cover. It's another entirely to be haunting the redlines with a rail tank and ducking behind a hill when someone so much as looks at you. That's bull **** right there and takes all the fun out of matches.
I was in a match against three redline rail tankers a few weeks ago. I literally could not play the game because I had to spend all my time on my forge gun keeping them from taking out my team. I ended the match with about 500 WP from 'damaging' their tanks and didn't get to do anything in the match at all but focus on them, while the three of them all went upwards of 800 and got a healthy padding to their KD/R. We only just barely won and probably would have lost if those tanks had been allowed to keep being fucktards.
I want a close match because everyone is trying their damnedest. Not because people on the other team have squadded up specifically to be pussies and KD/R pad. |

My PROTO fits only cost around 150K.
Assault Dropships are not only very expensive, but they also get destroyed far more easily than any Dropsuit.

I'm not complaining about ADS being OP or whatever, I mean, you must skill a lot to get it and that's what I like about dust, there are thousands ways to fit you gear. What I'm complaining about is when people get a ADS or a tank and just camp where most of you team is, getting easy kills. And is even more annoying when you get killed more that once by the same guy. And it's not that easy to destroy a ADS |

Nah I'd argue dropsuits are the easiest to die. Tons of weapons one shot you, scouts with knives, shotguns etc sneak up on you. Thale snipers are a dime a dozen from 400+ meters away. Remotes from all the free serpent scout apex's. you just about always have a chance to run away in an ADS and the missile turrets at least one shot most things that you hit. Given the range of most AV weapons you really put the ball in your court when it comes to engagement. AV might keep you from doing much good in terms of killing people but your own survival causes the enemy team to waste time trying to kill you which is almost as good. Honestly I think the biggest threat to DS is yourself. Not only over committing to something and getting taken down by AV but crashing into buildings and such that make you kill yourself. |

I'm sorry but I can't hear you over the sound of my 1.143 Million ISK per deployment HAV...... Prototype Dropsuits do not even come close.
