Dust don't gives you opportunity to be Chuck Norris destroying enemies alone in blink of eye. If you can't destroy dropship, cooperate with other players. Dropships are very vulnerable and expensive, so they're not ruining anything

I exclusively fly them, I lose 2 anytime i'm up against an even halfway competent team, only time I don't lose ships is when i'm being super cautious (almost never i'm here to have fun not worry about my isk balance) or when a team doesn't seem to know what AV can do to dropships. Rail snipers are stupid, but you can't fix stupid. I just want you to never mention vehicles being expensive. They cost just a little more roughly the same as a suit of the same meta. A full advanced load out logi or commando is easily in the 200k. There isn't really tiering in the ADS but fully loaded with middle of the road they are what 300k. Plus you will lose them less. Yeah, cost stopped being an issue a while ago. "Dying with your rep tool out - the logi-flasher!" Who hasn't been caught by a cute little female scout doing this?

If a friend and I attack a dropship at the same time we are almost sure that we will destroy it. With tanks its a bit harder, but we still get them a lot. Also, what really ruins the game its when people dont fight back. Gallente Factional Warfare is the perfect example at the moment.

How am I suppose to take the objective when it's heavily defended? It's so frustrating you're trying to win and they just won't let you! troll**.

I can drop most ads with my Minnie commando with a proto swarm in 3 shots. if they have hardners on it takes 5-6 swarms but still easy prey. though the best way is to have a squad mate with you with a swarm launcher and tag team it.

Let's actually compare: ADS hull: 200k 4 ADV modules: 50k, roughly 1 ADV turret: 30k, roughly = roughly 280k ADV suit: 8k 8 ADV modules: 20k, roughly 1 ADV light weapon: 20k, roughly 4 ADV equipment: 30k, roughly = roughly 78k Now, that's a Logi. Assaults, Commandos, Sentinels and Scouts are all significantly less expensive. Point being, however, that roughly equivalent gear is not even close in cost. Now consider that the ADS hull is actually only STD (200k vs Dropsuit 3k). I hate idiots talking about things they don't understand... Alt of Halla Murr. Sentinel.

If you mostly run solo, one of the Commando suits with Swarms or Plasma Canon is the best option as you will be able to have an AV weapon with and a light weapon to fight off infantry. Heavy + Forge is very good as AV, but it is not as efficient against infantry unless you have a sidearm you are efficient with.

The real problem with Vehicles is the basic and advanced levels are so weak any kind of AV blow them up like tin cans. You can be rather effective with a starter drop suit but unless you have a lot of skills into vehicles already the standard fit of most tanks and drop suits will blow up in seconds of any kind of AV being directed at it. AV wise it's pretty fair (except maybe AV grenades being a little too strong at proto level in comparison with armor/shield levels on vehicles now) until you come up against Proto fitted tanks and drop ships. The AV fits are not cheap, extremely vulnerable to infantry and more than likely be shot down within seconds by the vehicle they are trying to kill. Even if you manage to get the drop on the vehicle it takes too many shots to kill them, to the point where they can turn around and kill you or just drive/fly off and leave you hanging. People say teamwork is the answer, and yeah sure 2-3 people working together can take out most proto tanks/DS before they run away. But the problem imo is you can be a darn effective DS or tank user with no co-pilots/gunners. That weighs the team in favor of vehicle users to a high degree. Merely taking out the vehicle waste several players on the AV side while only one guy has to be driving the vehicle. Never mind you might be chasing the guy around the map if he's determined to run at the first sign of trouble. People like to throw the cost of vehicle's in your face but if you think about all the people who die trying to kill them it's obviously more than even. Three good proto AV fits more than likely equals ore exceeds the cost of the tank. Never mind they most likely are going to die unless standing near a supply depot once the vehicle is dead in addition to any deaths in the attempt to kill the vehicle. Given blasters cut down infantry in seconds and the range of a large blaster turret is equal to most forms of AV or better you get some messy situations for the AV.
