Still fighting your little causes on the forums I see. Kind of cute, kind of pathetic.
Perhaps its time for you to get a girlfriend Cloud, or at the very least, a better game.
Payday 2 is recommended, though you'll need friends for that.

Seriously, fighting from a higher elevation isn't tactical? You may not like it because it actually takes gasp a little effort to overcome. What's next remove cover, only scrubs shoot back. If you don't like this tactic because your team isn't countering it then get off your behind and do something about it like shooting back getting your own DS and taking the location your self or having some friends back you up or is it not tactical to use team work?

It's not taking the high ground that's the problem, it's more of a problem that almost every objective can be stalked by a mass driver/sniper with only a few/none? ways to counter it. |

Bright Cloud wrote:It doesnt matter what game mode you play there is 99% of the times a guy who takes a dropship and then deploys uplinks up high. This kind of annoying gameplay needs to stop, its not tactical nor is healthy for the game fighting a guy up high who has a massdriver or some other scrub gun. My idea is why dont we copy paste the redline mechanics from dropships and then invert the value?
Explaination of the dropship redline mechanic: As soon a dropship reaches a certain flight altitude the redline for it is vastly expanded giving it more space to fly in, however when you get close to the ground the regualr redline mechanics are back into place just like for every other ground unit.
So since we now know about that why dont we put a hight limitation on where dropsuits can operate? Anything to high from the ground would become the redline and thus eliminating high ground camping which then turns into a better gameplay experience for everybody (except for the twatts who currently abuse this).
I'd rather have ladders and stuff go up to all the roofs, but Ill take whatever.
High ground camping is boring as hell and makes the blueberries give up. |

NO.
That's exactly what they did back in the Beta. They put the flight ceiling so low you had to weave between structures that weren't even that tall because you couldn't fly over them.
That's why Swarms fly so fast now. The super low flight ceiling forced us to circle maps constantly, and that's also why everyone hated Missile Turrets. You ended up with Dropships that would orbit the map at max speed to outrun swarms, and blap infantry with Missile Turrets as they passed by.
Use Flux orbitals on uplinks, use the ladders if there are any, or fly up yourself. Don't try and **** up the game because you refuse to think outside the box.
