We dealt with the bolt pistol back in hotfix delta which is almost a whole year ago. There has been plenty of time to get on the bandwagon. In fact, the bolt pistol was nerfed in hotfix delta. And everyone using it? When the data shows the SMG and its variants completely outselling it at over a 2:1 ratio? And you're going to call ME misleading? The aim assist on it is a little powerful and there are some definite Kennedy Bullet headshots at times. The stats on it would probably be fine if it weren't for the wanted-style bullet curving when the round made a clear and distinctive miss. I think that owes to it's popularity, right now. I've done some pretty crazy stuff with the Ion Pistol as well but it is a lot less reliable, IMO, especially when aiming down the sight and using a full charge. Auto-aim currently will only track a target for a small amount of time but that small amount of time happens to be enough for a bolt pistol to lock on to a target and fire a headshot. I also stated that my preference was to have the range of the weapon decreased.

I think the AA is on par with most everything else, it doesn't really "stick" any harder than any other weapon. But its bullet magnetism is off the charts. I do recall him saying that large numbers of people flocking to a weapon or dropsuit is a sign of potential imbalance, and might cause some investigation, but he has never said that usage rates alone is what the game is balanced on.

People still whine about red line snipers even though they are the least effective things in the game. I agree this weapon is broken, but I dont agree that it is OP, do you understand the difference?

Then someone points out that if you don't include charge times in TTK you're being dishonest, they promptly scream, pitch a fit, show their asses and the argument falls apart. It's a lot of anecdotal screaming and not a lot of hard evidence. A couple videos on the part of better skilled, equipped and talented players are not more than circumstantial unless bad players and mediocre players show similar result. What's hilarious is CCP said they intended to make sidearms effective at killing similar to light weapons within their optimals. If framerate and hit detection didn't suck people would be screaming about getting instagibbed by scrambler headshots. Slower RoF weapons have a serious advantage in DUST. Less of the shots randomly get lost in the ether. It's why I think the AHMG is doing well and why I feel that the breach AR works better than the vanilla AR. WoW has taught me that Purple means Legendary. This means Quafe suits are the optimal loadout for killing all of you.
