This is why I suggested a notification (headshot sound, +5wp, etc) for proto/officer kills. Knowing that you've just cost someone half their match payout is rewarding, knowing you could do it again is motivating. |

To be honest I never check what exact suit I'm shooting at, I've played enough to just know what they look like. I've literally never thought, I just killed a proto suit. I really haven't ever cared what level people run, but it would be cool to get a notification.
My opinion is that people quit because they've given up. Rewarding protokills in some fashion won't stop you from getting outplayed, but they will give you a reason to keep playing |

I consider 20k for a suit to be expensive, and grinding 500 FW games isn't overly appealing

What are they waiting for? Is there a date on their calendar that they'll join a corp and get integrated into Dust? Is it a predetermined SP or ISK value they have in mind?
I just don't get it.
Effort, low expectations, social anxiety. Take your pick. Also redline is only tangentially related to that |
