Do you want to lose all your logis and support players to the scrub tiers? Not that I'd complain. I'd like it down in the scrub tiers. Free points and less deaths, and there aren't enough logis around as it is. Matches flooded with logis would be god damn hilarious. I think SP matchmaking would be a better barometer. Then the players with similar experience levels would be matched, and then if people qq about being proto stomped it's their own fault for spending their SP the wrong way, or not wanting to spend the ISK. And on a serious note... if you're not having fun then do something else. Why spend your downtime being angry? I think a serious problem with that is that I could start a new character, dump all my sp it say heavy and then by 10 mill I'm protostomping around in a gk.o with a boundless
You'll die. I promise you. This is the SAME issue I'm fairly sure has been explained more than once.
Vet like me with 65mil SP. PC hardened. All core skills maxed. 12 useable Proto suits. Proficiency 3 in most light weapons. I know how to wipe enemy links, place my own, kill hostiles in Advanced gear. I like running proto however because i never know when someone else, or the other team may use it. If they smash me off the point, retaking it is hard and costly. This game's NPE is brutal, even if the basics are explained. You are simply dealing with so much info. A newbie doesn't know that an Ar will take out shields faster, or to gauge being shot at by a Rail rifle vs a Scrambler based on purely noise, or that Damage Mods have a stacking penalty, or that a militia scrambler overheats in around 15-20 shots with no skills. We do, so we go up to a point with the intent to win because that is why we wanted to PC, for harder fights and because winnin. I'm sorry but if you are at that point I'm. trying to hack, and you are in the way of me being successful, you die, or I die trying. I knew players who ran proto with only 300k isk in their wallets. We aren't all rich, we just like playing with suits that we have earned after 2 years. That's not me being a D-bag to players and saying, "lolmilitia", that's me playing an FPS and trying to win. I'm sorry if you die in the crossfire as I try to not go isk negative against Nyain San, Negative Feedback, Titans of Phionex, Prima Gallicus etc. There are thousands of players with proto suits and you will never have useful teammates until they can distinguish a Caldari Assault proto from an Amarr Scout with just their eyes 80m out.
It isn't the suit. I've read hundreds of threads of people claomimgythey destroy people in proto suits. So obviously if you can in your militia, advance gear, so can noobs right? Wrong. The fact is you understand somethings in the game that are tsking for granted. When you joined, did you ever try to bloe up the MCC with a turret? Three shot someone with a gun only for them to kill you because you thought the TTK was like Cod? Or the kicker: Wondering what the hell are are these stats and how do they go tpgether and being utterly confused and wondering how to get all the SP you need???
I am sick and tired of people complaining about proto stomping. I'm sorry that people have a suit. Get on comms with a squad and kill them. You have a literal forum of people who will squad. Some players like me with drop you a helpline and fight with all pur gear to help you win. Learning Coalition. Chat channel to aid players. Observe how you died. Was it to a Scrambler? Where was he? Up high? Hmm, don't travel across open ground, it has a 90m range. Flank wide, and use a close range armor weapon if it's an Amarr Assault. Ding ding a Combat Rifle.
Play and counter-play peeps. All I can say.
Tldr: Play smart, people will run what they want. Learn from your deaths. Squad up. Hitting your head against a wall is dumb. 07

No dude I'm bored and missing Dust and angry irl and pissed off that people are still complaining when I do exactly what they dont want. Do you think I went on the forums and complained? Dude I didn't know there were forums till 11 months after I played Dust!!! I was getting slaughtered. I found a vet I saw go positive and use a brightly colored suit. I pressed X on his name, said hello, how did you do that? He promptly invited me to squsd, trolled me, and then kicked me. I mailed him again, asking for just a few tips. He reinvited me, and then taught me some core game basics. Seriously just take that step and try to get help...and I'm sorry if you don't have a mic, or time to squad, or want to go on the forums and do this or that, but honestly what do you want me or other people to do? Not try and win the game? Come on now

Nowadays, seems like thats the only thing players care about on Dust is exactly that, going ISK+ ...and the fact, that CCP, brought BPOs after they took them out of the game, and not only that, adding APEX suits helped the no risk = full reward addiction, that has plenty of mercs hooked like it was crack.
I dont think this is gonna kill the game, but the future of having fun, certainly looks grim.- I don't understand why the APEX phenomenon has failed to generate more action. It gives you a better suit that can be tweaked to make great fits for less than 20K. You can die 10 times and still go ISK+. I can't for the life of me figure out why people would stay in NPC or crap corps and get slaughtered to the point they still play the game but play it from the safety of the redline. What are they waiting for? Is there a date on their calendar that they'll join a corp and get integrated into Dust? Is it a predetermined SP or ISK value they have in mind? I just don't get it. They probably dont know you CAN join a corp. Starting out I thought all these names were just cool ones generated by the Chinese Communist Party..aka what I thought CCP was. Took me a day to figure out how to leave my NPC with the help of someone else

No KDR matching won't. Some players are really good at slaying. Some people are good at running away the second anyone tries to kill them. KDR is not representative of player skill because some people have 60 mil sp and only logi.
But...i suppose it's worth a try.
