Grenades are fine. Gotta say, I die to a grenade like once out of every 100 deaths... I know I keep count (read the log posts).
The only issue with them is the terrible throwing mechanic. Nothing like bouncing off invisible walls/corner, rolling for 20 meters, or stopping randomly instead of rolling. The guy that said they are a "safe" weapon obviously does not recognize the 3 seconds you stand there doing nothing except the throwing animation, and that is if you do no cook it. I kill a lot of guy throwing them. A lot more than kill me with them. |

Yeah, it's a grenade, grenades are supposed to do uber damage..... ..... but I'm in a suit of power armor that is made of freaggin polycrystalline carbide and a body that is filled with so many biotics and nanites that I can barely even be considered human anymore. So at what point does your "uber damage grenade" stop and my "23,000 years in the future power armor" begin..?
From your reasoning, my core nade is 23000 years in the future also. Which means your future suit will be destroyed by my future nade. Let's nerf them so they can become rocks. Chuch rocks at reds. That'll make some people happy.

I'm not and I don't think those feelings are expressed in that one sentence. The Core is a problem because people can easily spam them and take out a whole team. Today I was in a battle with a friend who ran a shield suit. About 600-750 shield hp and 200-300 armor hp. We and the rest of our team were trying to hold of the enemy team from taking the objective. He was in the back and someone threw a core back, him and 2 other people died from full health. Then after that more were coming and took about more of us and it was the same person spamming them. See now thats a problem.
