That's enough. Prove yourself on the battlefield next time we are fighting for our next district.
On the part of my beloved corp I am sorry for all this bleh that is going on and I am sure Sicerly is only frustrated with lag and just people not seeking to understand. It happens to everyone, hell, its like talking to your parents. They see one thing even though you're saying another.
Again, sorry for this, this is not what our corp is about, this here drama.

You shouldnt base your opinion on pc against a much better or equipped corp than yours. Especially, not to advertise others to stay away.
pc is most competitive amd it sucks when you lose. My pc experience had it's highs and lows. More highs than lows and actually the low times were due mostly to inactivity.
You take your losses and learn. Good thing about dust pc's is that anyone can beat anyone on any given day. It's a matter of preparation and knowing your tactics. And also knowing your strengths and weaknesses. If you know your opponents will outgun you, then plan for it. Dont try and match them straight up, hit the less guarded points, speed hack, zerg, etc.
Dust has so many roles, there are so many strategies you can use....which is the beauty of pc in dust.
Shield tanking is hard mode /period.

Tebu Gan wrote:Balistyc Farshot wrote: Tebu, once again someone from a corp that will be fighting to hold their abundance of districts soon chimes in with Butt Hurt advice. Nice! Sorry, but this is why your CEO has to fight the rep you guys have of being aholes. New guy comes to play on your field and you spit in his face. Classy. I will introduce you to my forge gun later when you guys stop being able to leverage ringers.
Yaw dude, PC is full of lag which is why lots of us restart our systems right before going in. It sometimes help. I am in the city unlike Tebu and as a heavy I know the HMG is there to remove the laggers. I also logi so I know that pain as well.
PC is dicey and full of jerks, but it is your sandbox, so I say continue to try and see what happens. It is the only place you can bring a full team of proto who is organized against the same.
Plus it will give the FC a chance to try and figure out how to organize 15 other guys with nothing but basic information and comm updates. This will sharpen a skill not on the tree, team work! Get back in there!
Perhaps you missed the massive giveaway to new corps Cap has done just recently (not to mention in the past). Everybody hate the guys on top, be it that wealthy 1% or those that hold the most districts. If it wasn't us, it would be someone else. Blind and pointless rage at those who fought their way to the top. Check the starmap for me and check our "abundance" of districts. Thing is buddy, many of us do talk a lot of **** but that's the nature of PC. Want some carebear pandering to your feelings go try FW or a Pub. Those people you see who own all them districts, they tend to be hyper competitive. The weak falter and the strong flourish. We play to win, and we don't take losing lightly. That spit in the face is more like a welcome to PC, come at me scrub. What always gets me though is these people calling out shady stuff. There is NOTHING shady going on. I've been involved in PC for quite a long while now and I can assure you there is no lag switching or ultra mega cheats. Just good strong teamwork and a little FOTM chasing going around (which isn't "Cheating" in my book). In the end, if you can't take a jab here or there while involved in PC, I suggest you gtfo now. It's no place for you. (I look forward to that FG of yours btw, hope you enjoy getting rail sniped from 300M away . Probably leave the battle and accuse me of cheating no doubt!)
Tebu, I don't hate Shep. He has actually fought with me a couple of times. You have some good guys in CA. The problem is that "You" and people like you need to realize as the top 1% need to treat the lower working class guys with a little respect. Otherwise they will never want to be in PC and that game mode will die. If you are at the top, then be regal about it, dance around and talk yourself up, but understand those lower guys risked and loss more than you climbing the ladder.
I love how since you don't know my name you assume I am a noob. Like I said, you seem to respect other players (Sarcasm font). I have been here since Open Beta and personally turned several districts. I FC'd and organized attacks and defenses so I know a little more than the standard player about PC and Corp mechanics. I respect you a little more (Nice job sniping still in a top tier corp) and a little less for the rail sniping. (Sorry, but you need to catch some flack for being a redliner and you say I have butt hurt! Hah!) BTW - I more than once have been offered positions in top tier corps, no names though.
My FG, I only use it for 5 minutes to chase tanks and DS off the battlefield after I take the city. We won't really get to tangle I think. I am actually wanted in the fight flipping points, so lag city fighting.

You can have districts as long as you want them. The power corps are well aware that kid gloves will be needed, this thread is as good of an example as any.
I just wanna look out for my corp mates. You get forced out of PC so many times and then everyone's sad. I don't care about PC as much as running squads with my corpies. They make it fun. It's going to take a lot of effort and a thick skin to become proficient in PC. This is a much more forgiving time given the state of the game. If you guys bring decent fights and show up to matches, you'll find the community open to keeping you in PC. I know that sounds cocky or whatever, but it is what it is. I was a founding member and director of ML, I totally understand what it's like being on the other side. Just don't make yourself a target. Trust me when I say to keep any chest beating or whining off of the forums. Your probably right, but if we did that or not, apparently Project of Killers is still mass attacking us out I know some people that would love to provide assistance. Songs of Seraphim wrote:There is no lag switching in Dust. That's a myth. And make sure you run on a wired connection, if possible. If you're having lag, most likely we feel it too. The difference is experience in PC where there were hard-fought matches and getting our sh*t pushed in. Because we were all new at one point.
Just to put blame back on CCP for the lag. The real issue is that the host is determined by the first or largest population of mercs by location. So your server could be in asia if you are fighting the majority of people over there. That is why some corps are known for lagging. Most of their members are in a region other than the Americas and they play there. That means there will be international lag. the biggest, tastiest, and best kind of lag! Also anyone closer to that server will feel less lag. Just an FYI. This is due to the Peer to Peer network they setup.

#misconceptions
We haven't had profit from selling clones in almost a year. Up until PC 2.0, as in less than a week, you didn't get any benefit from having districts apart from throwing more clones at people with which to fight and win ISK. It was an artificial conflict generator that was pointless and stupid.
Even with PC 2.0 we can only sell clones for DK, which is about damn worthless without a DK market. All we can do is just stock up on DK and hope something good comes out of it otherwise it'll just be another jesus feature meant to jumpstart PC but ultimately have no value.
But feel free to chalk that up to me being high and mighty over you expressing your opinion.
