it was pretty horrible but not as bad as I thought it would be in the end I only died a few times and most due to lag
I saw that my side was full of lag and I suspect the other side did not and this will be further confirmed by video evidence soon I presume as a known you tuber was a part of it and I assume he was recording
in the end we kept the district but we barely managed to hang on not to mention that the rival corp is still attacking
overall my experience was not too great but it wasn't bad enough to make me want to move away from PC
It seems that it is still not a place for small corps although it may be easier to get into it defiantly is not easier to stay mostly due to certain corps that pick on those who are less fortunate
I do have to admit that I have lost respect for some well known players as I thought they were actually good but seeing them in battle says otherwise, then again this is my opinion and my opinion only nothing to do with my corp or their although I do not agree with certain practices that makes it hard on small corps trying to get into PC
PC seems to only the an environment for questionable practices but I am interested to learn more
anyone trying to get into PC that thinks they will make ISK out of it might want to stick to pubs for a while as it is not that lucrative
and anyone that's looking for some legit proto on proto fights you will more then likely be disappointed as well stick to FW
advise for those that want to get into PC but do not know how, join a corp that has enough resources preferably one that does not get involved with Corps that have questionable practices as they will more then likely exclude you and will only accept the best players to go into PC (unless they are targeting small corps calling it a practice match)
you will want to make sure everything you have is full proto and that you can afford to lose more then a couple of fits and be sure to max your core skills as these will limit you to what you can bring into battle
if you want to make isk stick to pubs
you want to have good fights stick to ambush/FW
do you want the glory and notoriety that can only come by being a competitive player then PC might be the place for you although not likely
I was really nervous for most of it but it wasn't that much different then the usual stomp but it was somewhat better for me at least as I didn't seem to lag as much as the rest of my corp did which is why I can say that the corp we fought against was more then their fair share of sketchy (standing still while shooting and not taking damage at point blank range, among other things)
well that's what I could gather so far let me know if you have any PC stories of your own or any advice, please do not call out any players or corps unless you have hard proof and evidence that shows what you say is true (trust me I know there are sketchy people out there)

And stop with the sketchy, it's lag. Lag is just absolutely terrible in PC. Sure not EVERY single player has it, but for those that do it can pretty much take you out of the game. I get it from time to time, though being a tanker I don't generally have to go into the city where lag is at it's worst.
Though the moment I step into that city, my frame rate will drop the rest of the match. If there is one issue that frustrates me beyond anything else with PC it is lag. Has been an ongoing problem since the advent of PC. |

Sorry, but this is why your CEO has to fight the rep you guys have of being aholes. New guy comes to play on your field and you spit in his face. Classy. I will introduce you to my forge gun later when you guys stop being able to leverage ringers.
Yaw dude, PC is full of lag which is why lots of us restart our systems right before going in. It sometimes help. I am in the city unlike Tebu and as a heavy I know the HMG is there to remove the laggers. I also logi so I know that pain as well.
PC is dicey and full of jerks, but it is your sandbox, so I say continue to try and see what happens. It is the only place you can bring a full team of proto who is organized against the same.
Plus it will give the FC a chance to try and figure out how to organize 15 other guys with nothing but basic information and comm updates. This will sharpen a skill not on the tree, team work! Get back in there!

If you take certain actions before PC, you won't experience much lags.
And yes, PC can be profitable. Not so rare, not so often, but still.

When you mass attack someone expect for your entire alliance to get hit. I was simply stating a fact. Dust User made multiple threads about it. From my understanding it was his last hurrah before leaving to PS4. |

for me the Isk is no problem any losses I take I can quickly grind out
lag big problem yes, and keep in mind I am new so I just wanted to share what my thoughts and experiences were
the sketchy things that I mentioned well I've seen things happen so I know who likes to exploit, this on top of other things can make PC a real pain as the exploiters can inflate their resources to remain in PC for longer then they would be able to
the new changes may help somewhat but there will still be "spies" and people trying to take advantage of the new CP system (which I don't really mind as loyalty is one thing I feel corps should have in the first place to avoid such actions)
I know that whatever corp I decide to stick with there will be PC interaction (raiding or otherwise) the reason I wanted to get into PC was due in part to the competitive aspect along with the high risk high reward play style, and I am willing to take any trolling that comes with it, as it wont keep me away from rising to the top
