Wow. I understand the frustration, but everything has pretty much been explained already in previous posts. DUST is unique, for good or for bad. How long have you been playing to not yet understand this?
My guess here is that development has barely enough staff and time to hit a moving target, if that. Again, revisit DUST development history for why I "guess" this. Need to change slot layout for suit X? Alright. Done. Sh!t we have a new task list, dude load up and make sure that slot layout looks right and works. Yeah? Good? Moving on.... maybe they got time to test secondary affects, but I would guess a lot of that is still based on the assumption that current code does what it is supposed to do. That doesn't always happen. Maybe there's a value that has now been changed that unknowingly is called for some other seemingly unrelated function. If they're not aware of that for whatever reason (illogical or static source code, poor code commenting and documentation, perhaps the guy who usually does this is out giving birth to alien hybrids and the janitor is filling in for the day and just doesn't know the subtle ins-and-outs), then how would they know to trace it until they---or in your case, you---stumble upon the error? Or say they do stumble upon the issue before launch, and the fix actually fixes it but inadvertently creates another unrelated error due to weird hard-coded variables or wtf other endless possibilities of issues.
Have you never been tasked for a 24-hour goal but only given 8 to complete it? I'm not arguing the logic or value in such a task, I'm arguing that whether you or I like it, such tasks exist. I am also not suggesting that this is the case for CCP regarding DUST updates, only that I am willing to give development the benefit of the doubt considering the history. And it's F2P. And it's still a fun game. And your sig makes it funny that people are bothering to reply to you. Even more so that you have 2 posts running asking CCP for answers.
