What I'm getting from the process is that pervious programmers failed to leave rigorous notes in the code to explain the functions sufficiently that someone else can pick it up and use it.
It's a programmer thing. They try to make themselves indispensable by being the only ones who can fully understand it. Most companies mercilessly sh*tcan people for doing it anymore.
But coding notations are critical for people to pick up and run with say... whatever bamm did to the controls in uprising.
There hasn't been a whole lot to indicate that anyone can figure out what he did or how. Which means for all we know it could have been brilliant with a single math error. But if there were no notes, then you might as well be trying to extrapolate sumerian cold with half a rosetta stone.

Because their deal with sony did not include allowances for a secondary client which patches separately and links to Singularity.
That's how players test EVE.
The only way we get live patch testing pre-release is a PC port.
Because in-house builds never perform identically to live-release builds that hit consoles. Even destiny, wow, and every other game in existence that does live updates has a few bugs that berserk the system despite rigorous testing.
Quit demanding perfection. It isn't happening. Just point out what went wrong and let them fix it.

Meh?
I really don't give a sh*t?
Patch bugs are a thing. They happen.
Oh look, half will be fixed by tomorrow, most of the stand-outs by downtime next week. It's what happens, people b*tch and rant then within a week it's back to business as usual

If this were the old Dev team I'd be more of an ******* about it. But Rattati and Team Evil have been doing a remarkable job at fixing a game that was supposed to sunset and never receive another update that isn't a hotfix.

Really now would it be nearly as fun if I were 100% likeable?
They'd confiscate my Goon Card.
