I don't appreciate people trying to undermine other guns due to the past decisions that have come due to community QQ the AR and RR where both nerfed into the ground because everyone complained when they were being spamed and now both of these weapons are due in for a buff precisely because of that

the ScR is due in for a nerf due to the buff(s) it received that were unnecessary not to mention that It was already a problem beforehand it just wasn't spammed like other rifles were

the BP is in a good spot as are most of the sidearms, instead of trying to undermine good weapons why not look at whats lacking and give a little love such as the burst ScP the breach Flaylock and maybe even the magsec and assault smg

the burst ScP lacks ammo, the breach Flaylock lacks ammo damge and RoF, the magsec is underwhelming and acts like a slightly worse rifle it could use something more to give it some flavor but I don't mind it staying as it is, the assault smg is good but by no means is it advantageous in almost any situation other then perhaps on a Min assault level 5 it could use perhaps a higher RoF or a bit more range

every other side arm seems to be ok but could be looked at and given help where it is needed, I haven't seen many people use the ScP but its in a good spot due to the high risk high reward play style that comes with it and having good aim with it is all that is needed to make most variants work other then the burst ScP as you still run out of ammo too quickly making every shot missed a complete waste, I think a better sight might help or perhaps some adjustments to the current iron sight to make aiming down sight a more pleasant task

I made my choice to purchase the Gal scout and boy is that scout cool. I don't have any sp into it but the best part of that scout is the Ion Pistol. I remember when the sidearms released and everyone said and even I said of how terrible the Ion pistol was but now I regret it. For the past couple of days I've been going up against scouts and dame I charge my shot and BAM headshot and Scout down in ONE SHOT. No matter how much HP that scout has = Dead xD The bolt pistol is cool but really dont use it much since its idk meh kinda easy to get kills with it but the Ion pistol = Its not easy to master it but if you give her a chance then you'll be one deadly merc. I even went up against a heavy mostly Amarr that his armor went from 100% all the way to 20% xD I had to finish him with another shot. Although it does a shitload of damage to shields. Whats your experience with the Ion Pistol? Also today I'll be giving out Officer dropsuits. Scotsman, Storm Raider, Ratatti, and Archedukes at no Cost. ( Each merc is limited to ONE) I have no Frames since I don't get them often = :( Send me a message or reply here and then later I'll go online :) Why did the white girl cross the road? Negative-Feedback 11	Posted - 2015.07.05 19:46:00 - [6] - Quote My experience with the Ion Pistol was getting every single skill related to it to level 5 (including fitting optimization) and running it on all of my suits. The viability against Scouts is a'ight but my major issue is that the thing is nigh impossible to land a shot with with any sort of reliability or consistency. Charged shots are a death sentence because (for some reason) you can't do anything but drop the controller and go make a sandwich whenever you overheat. You can use it as a normal pistol by not charging it but the overheat is finicky and hard to deal with as even a partial charge will cause it to overheat, even if unintentional (spamming the button too fast). So, my experience? Even specializing into every aspect of the weapon through skills and running it's proto form (THAT WASN'T EVEN IT'S FINAL FORM, lawl) was that it was more punishing than it was worth and I found myself immediately changing to the SMG just for it's power and ease of use. I wound up buying a respec and completely speccing out it, so. 10% of US schools no longer teach Cursive. A decade from now, 10% of the US isn't going to understand all the squiglies.

You will DOMINATE in CQC. LITERALY. Assault g/1 (dispersion bonus/high tank/rep) Adv shotgun (for heavies, assaults and ohk on scouts) Adv ion pistol( use when enemy is out of shotgun range, charge and aim for head) Adv flux(shields are screwed, wipe out equipment) Adv scanner(know where your enemy is around corners and stuff) Krins damage mod(more damage to both weapons) Adv precision(good to see heavies around corners, flux and shotty and they are dead) Adv rep(9.5 total rep plus 350ish armor) Adv kincat( a bit slower than scouts but faster than assaults) Adv cardio( run longer to escape or stuff) Adv dampener(you can avoid like half of all scans tbh) You can also swap out damage mod for myofibril stimulant for higher jump/mobility and harder melee in cqc. Jack the Rlpper TRAILS AND TRIBULATIONS No Context 212	Posted - 2015.07.06 04:44:00 - [29] - Quote Sicerly Yaw wrote: you call out the BP and say it is easy to use and yet you go on and say that the Ion Pistol is not easy to master? you get more shots per clip a higher damage output, more dps and more damage per clip if you take into account charged shots its the ScR of the sidearms the only reason its not OP is because of the lack of any range it has otherwise everyone and their mother would use it I don't appreciate people trying to undermine other guns due to the past decisions that have come due to community QQ the AR and RR where both nerfed into the ground because everyone complained when they were being spamed and now both of these weapons are due in for a buff precisely because of that the ScR is due in for a nerf due to the buff(s) it received that were unnecessary not to mention that It was already a problem beforehand it just wasn't spammed like other rifles were the BP is in a good spot as are most of the sidearms, instead of trying to undermine good weapons why not look at whats lacking and give a little love such as the burst ScP the breach Flaylock and maybe even the magsec and assault smg the burst ScP lacks ammo, the breach Flaylock lacks ammo damge and RoF, the magsec is underwhelming and acts like a slightly worse rifle it could use something more to give it some flavor but I don't mind it staying as it is, the assault smg is good but by no means is it advantageous in almost any situation other then perhaps on a Min assault level 5 it could use perhaps a higher RoF or a bit more range every other side arm seems to be ok but could be looked at and given help where it is needed, I haven't seen many people use the ScP but its in a good spot due to the high risk high reward play style that comes with it and having good aim with it is all that is needed to make most variants work other then the burst ScP as you still run out of ammo too quickly making every shot missed a complete waste, I think a better sight might help or perhaps some adjustments to the current iron sight to make aiming down sight a more pleasant task I love how your defending a ohk sidearm so much. I was playing on my gfs character tonight and her suit had less the 60 ehp altogether and I was 1 shot by a basic bp. When im on jack both my min and gal stacked heavys die to 2 or 3 shots for bp its a over powered sidearm, Damage range decent rof comon it needs a nerf and you know it. A logi bro or scot or archduke would be nice please and Ion pistol is KING n++pâçGòÉS+Ç +50 n++pâçGòÉS+Ç +60

I used to use it like a Scrambler Rifle: use a charge shot followed by non-charged shots. Though because it is disabled after a charged shot I decided to use the reverse method of firing: many rapid shots followed by a powerful charged shot. It is devastating to Logi's, light frames and heavy suits that are not sentinels. Sentinels and Assaults are difficult to kill with the Ion Pistol because they tend to have fair amounts of mobility and good amounts of damage and health. This means that many times you'll have to use more than one charged shot unless you have sidearm damage mods. This weakness is alright, because although it leaves you vulnerable hopefully you only have to use it against Assault's and Sentinels as a finishing move. In which case the charged shot will be a mercilessly efficient final blow. Put your flags up in the sky. And wave them side to side. Show the world where you're from. Show the world we are one.
