I have 6 or 8 Logi bros 1 scotsman and 6 Stormraiders left.
The ion pistol is too flukey for my taste, a bit of latency and you overheat, miss charge..overheat. I'm all for steady application of damage over time. I have it on my gal assault but never end up using it.
Logibro if u please?

I love it, but I find it needs to be on a gal assault to shine/be viable. The accuracy is awful for a cqc-focused weapon. Still. Head shots are deeply satisfying.

Ion pistol is my favorite sidearm. I just don't like that it is the only luck based sidearm because of its terrible accuracy.
I've learned to snipe at 60 meters with a flaylock.
I've learned to inspire fear with a bolt pistol.
I've learned to use an smg to finish targets consistently.
I've learned to knife people in the back.
I've learned to spit out bullets on target with a magsec.
I've learned to headshot poor souls with a scrambler.
Yet I can't learn how to consistently use my ion pistol to its full potential. ( and yes I understand how it operates, the limits of its range and the power of each shot, and how to aim and pace my shots)
While slow to anger and occasionally indecisive, they are also capable of harnessing enormous resolve when truly tested.

Pacing the shots are very tricky, its got me a couple times on overheating but the distance, when i'm running it on my assault I treat it like i'm running my scout with the shotgun and use items to move behind after popping a few spits out so it doesn't overheat. Making contact on the first charge shot is the winner.
