2 weeks ago when I reached 100,000 LP for the 3rd time for Gal FW.
I made my choice to purchase the Gal scout and boy is that scout cool. I don't have any sp into it but the best part of that scout is the Ion Pistol.
I remember when the sidearms released and everyone said and even I said of how terrible the Ion pistol was but now I regret it.
For the past couple of days I've been going up against scouts and dame I charge my shot and BAM headshot and Scout down in ONE SHOT. No matter how much HP that scout has = Dead xD
The bolt pistol is cool but really dont use it much since its idk meh kinda easy to get kills with it but the Ion pistol = Its not easy to master it but if you give her a chance then you'll be one deadly merc.
I even went up against a heavy mostly Amarr that his armor went from 100% all the way to 20% xD I had to finish him with another shot.
Although it does a shitload of damage to shields.
Whats your experience with the Ion Pistol?
Also today I'll be giving out Officer dropsuits.
Scotsman, Storm Raider, Ratatti, and Archedukes at no Cost. ( Each merc is limited to ONE)
I have no Frames since I don't get them often = :(

Adv scanner(know where your enemy is around corners and stuff)
Krins damage mod(more damage to both weapons)
Adv precision(good to see heavies around corners, flux and shotty and they are dead)
Adv rep(9.5 total rep plus 350ish armor)
Adv kincat( a bit slower than scouts but faster than assaults)
Adv cardio( run longer to escape or stuff)
Adv dampener(you can avoid like half of all scans tbh)
You can also swap out damage mod for myofibril stimulant for higher jump/mobility and harder melee in cqc.
This is honestly the best CQC fit I have used on an assault. I hope you enjoy it.
The most I have ever gotten with this is 50+ kills with only 7 deaths one time on bridge domination.
The key to using the ion pistol is to use scanner to know enemy, when the right time is near, charge shot, wait for cool down, and spam him with remaining ***** if too far away, or kill him with shotgun when in CQC.
And I'll take a Rattati. And maybe a Scotsman at 500k if it's ok with you. Just send it ASAP. Thanks and your welcom for this fit.
Since my sensitivity is 100 I know how to land those shots. I do prefer Headshots which its tricky.

Update. I ran out of Gallente Officer dropsuits. Dont panic I wrote your name down as for those who wanted a Scots man, archduke = bingo you have it.
I have 6 or 8 Logi bros 1 scotsman and 6 Stormraiders left.
