To be able to hold down circle to sprint up a ladder? Like you can in Dark Souls 2? Hold down circle, use up stamina, climb much faster? Is this something that can be programmed?

That's actually a pretty legit idea. I hate how exposed you are on those longer ladder climbs...would be nice to be able to speed up the process a bit.

Wha? What control setup are you using? What does circle usually do for you?
I use praetorian, and what I do is jump part of the way, and then tap the circle key to start climbing at a higher place.
I recently realized that other control setups require a button to be held to climb. That seems like a slight disadvantage for them.

If this game was fun, I wouldn't be playing it. |

This would be helpful, considering the mile long ladder climbs in Dust.

Only drawback is how silly climbing a ladder really fast looks. I laughed every time I ladder sprinted in DS2

I press circle to begin my climb. I typically get a running start and press circle at the apex of my jump, to begin climbing farther up the ladder. I don't have to hold the button to climb. However if I DID hold the button, I want to be able to sprint up the ladder, at the cost of having no stamina when I arrive up top.

This would also be nice as it provides maneuverability on the ladders (speed up, slow down, stop, jump... would be nice if with this it was possible by the same mechanics to slide down the ladder, sorta like a faster climb down as well as being able to climb faster going up). :)
