DUST 514 Warlords 1.2 is coming to DUST 514 today!
Please provide general feedback in this thread once you update your DUST 514 client (full restart of your PS3 is highly recommended as well).

Navigating through the dropsuits progression is not intuitive.
On gallente heavy suits, when I go to the right from the 'hecaton' basic-h, it goes directly to the apex 'atlas' sentinel, which is on the bottom, pressing the down button takes it to the middle selection apex 'centurion', and pressing the up button takes it to the 'alcyon' basic-h, which is on the top! so either the menu controls need remapped or the positions of these dropsuit loadouts need to be changed.
I get similar difficulty on the medium and light gallente suits, and i've had it on the caldari suits i've tried as well. |

VERY VERY Happy with the "basic" frames having added functionality.
+1 for the 3 equipment light frame +1 for the 2 equipment medium frame +1 for the different slot layout for the heavy frame.

Cal Logi needs cpu and pg chips at proto to fit 4 proto equipment. Can Logistics suits get a more meaningful bonus to equipment fitting? Similar to scouts fitting cloaks, should cost nearly nothing to fit all proto equipment, then there would be a reason to use a logi for logistics rather than adding 3 myos and jumping around like a moron with a plasma canon or mass driver. |

The only suit I had a chance to play around with was the Calmando. 2nd low is great for another Shield mod. I can get my shield repaie delay down under 4 seconds now. So big plus. Also, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. For the 4th equip slot on the CalLogi.
Only other things. My Mauler Amarr Sent all of a sudde is not a legal fit. Not sure what changed.
Also, maybe I missed it but did you all give me a Cal Medium skin (red and black) on the Down Low? Or have I had that beautiful thing for a while and just never noticed it?

Can't offer fair feedback at the moment on account of persistent performance/framerate issues; here's to hoping you're able to iron out whatever it is that is currently bogging down gameplay.
Barring framerate, 1.2 has the potential to be the best update we've seen in a long time.

Apart from the (usual) launch day snafu, things are looking really good. I'm sure you will have all suites where they should be shortly.
But, if I can make a suggestion, please remove AUR gear from the Progression Loadouts. It gives a false picture of the skill requirements required to run a class. (I.e you might have enough SP for the predefined Loadout, but not for the real deal).
In addition, who thought it would be a good idea to put a Combat Rifle on the Caldari Loadouts (I just chuck that one into the rest of the Loadout / suite hick up) |

Everything seems the same for EVE pilots providing orbital bombardments. I'm glad it's a feature that hasn't been removed.
I still have some items on my wish list:
- Can my EVE character get district kredits as a member of my Dust514 corporation for performing orbital strikes?
- Can orbital bombardment "capture" timers be shown on the district satellite during Planetary Conquest battles like it is for Factional Warfare battles? I love having a use for my watch's stopwatch function, but it would be a nice feature.
Thanks for investing time and effort into Planetary Conquest. I'm having a grand time keeping my EVE character alive long enough to provide orbital strikes. I look forward to whatever future links EVE will have with Dust 514 or its successors. |

As someone else mentioned: the Progression navigation is skewed. It works, but to get to the card above, you have to go down.
Also, it appears you can Claim the APEX 'Serpent' Scout while other APEX suits only allow you to purchase. I do not think that was intended?
Edit: oh, and the graphical lag seems to have increased exponentially. I typically have to restart the PS3 every 10-15 matches as it seems the clean-up of data is not very good. This time, I had to restart the PS3 after the second match.
Nothing cures bad aim like a mass driver...

True. But each of my squads in BC makes one or two orbitals. Even sometimes there is no clear target to launch. It does not seem sufficient reason. Need a dedicated player to launch orbital ...

Don't feel two bad I did a skill reset so that I can use them and my akos now the suits are not even good for AV let alone shield tanking. |

few days later, tea finished, I'm liking the update, TTK has increased for the most part, MLT suits stand out like a sore-thumb now, they've become even more basic.
Finally people have a way to make more ISK too, also you have a proto suit if you use pg and cpu upgrades, 1 of each! |

Found another error. The Federation Commando "centurion" apex suit only has 16 PG instead of 35 while the AUR Apex variant has the proper buffed amount of PG/CPU. So basically the LP version of the Centurion Commando hasnt gotten the buff. Please Fix!

Why did you move the red line so close the the objective on some of the dom maps. It makes it vary hard to use tanks i have
had 9 battles where i had a long rang rail battle with other tanks because you can go around and sneak up on them or the red
line will kill you. Neater of us got a kill because when re were really damaged we just backed up a little and healed it was
boring and makes me not want to run tanks any more. And the sniper good god now you cant even get them with out sniping
they littler can sit right in front of the objective pick people of and the only way to get them is to snipe them. and what about the

and my favorite blue barres standing behind me and not letting me back up. ok that last one was int about the map but we all
have had it happened. o and the best of all the swarm lag receiving all swarm damage at once when you didint even know you
where being swarmed. ( HAVE FUN AND KILL WELL FELLOW DUST PLAYERS )

When I look at this proper, Basic and Adv, cals are out classed by everything else, save for if you run Cal with armor plates, but, I guess that's what CCP intended, huh?

So I'm curious as to why there hasn't been a meta level lock on public matchs. If meta level lock would be put in place it would stop people from proto stomping public matchs and killing the game community. Example ambush, skirmish, and domination all meta locked at advanced gear. Factional and planetary conquest would be your proto capable matchs. New players join, come out of academy after say 4 matchs and then join every of else. Their first match is a strait proto stomp. Who wants to play for months Bearly winning any matchs and getting the crap kicked out of them in every match they play in. The match making that puts everyone roughly in the same sp area doesn't help when a squad of 60+ million sp guys have a 10 million or under player as squad lead. A meta level lock on public matchs will not only fix proto stomping but also increase the player base and increase revenue for Ccp. Just saying. And if you disagree with a meta level lock your part of the problem. |

here is my feedback for DUST as it stands, from my experience, in my opinion - 11th September 2015.
I am still getting stuck on terrain all the time, if you try to shoot your weapon you bounce and your sights goes up and down like a yo-yo.
the frame rate still leaves a lot to be desired, it is especially noticeable when moving at high speeds in an LAV for instance.
I personally think nova knives do far too much damage.
Remote explosives still have no damage falloff relative to distance from the epicentre, why is this? why is splash damage not calculated?
The breach mass driver needs some love, the breach shotgun needs some love, the breach flaylock needs some love.
the contact nade has what, 1.5m blast radius, 1 holdable and 150 damage and 0 splash? something like that, it's pathetic.
breach forge gun is not that viable, takes too long to charge.
scrambler rifle is extremely over-powered, it does too much damage per second.
I think the laser rifle should eventually stop dealing increased damage, why does it get to a point where an ELM can cut through someone I'm repping with max minmatar logistics skills and a core focused?
remove or tweak core repair tool I bet nobody uses it.

Very good points except the nova knives. Replace NN with Melee damage and you're perfect.
